Lodges & Accommodation

Pros:

• "The lodge was lovely. Very clean and everything there we needed."
• "Our lodge was lovely, clean, modern, comfortable and had everything we needed."

• "Blackout blinds are really needed in the bedrooms and the outside furniture needs changing."

• "It has a 3 person Hot tub. Lodge 13. Really spoilt the break."
• "The shower in the main bedroom ran extremely hot and could not be turned down it would definitely scold if you were to use it."

• "Chemical toilet emptying point has never flushed sufficiently to clear the contents."
• "Nice site some standards poor IE shower block cleaned by machines that did not clean in corners or under wash basin."
• "Toilets although sanitary fittings cleaned well, but not the sides of the cubicles and nooks and crannies."
• "Unfortunately the pitch we are on this time is next to the toilet block and the industrial building behind it. There is a machine running day and night so no chance of a night's sleep."
• "Lack of supervision of the site that was previously done by the wardens, security therefore lacking as the barrier is left open at times, dogs not on leads etc."

Pros:

• "Very peaceful."
• "Beautiful campsite."
• "Good for a bit of fishing and not far from RAF Coningsby so you are often treated to some Eurofighter Typhoons flying past."
• "Only 10 minutes walk to Woodhall Spa, which for a small town has loads to do."
• "Very dog friendly too which was great for us - the boys even had 2 dog beds waiting for them."

Cons:

• "Main gripe is the wifi, you have to pay for it."
• "Just needs another toilet block on busy weekends."
• "Came to cancel a booking (1 week prior to arrival) and wasn't aware that 70% of our paid booking wouldn't be returned to us."
• "Kept awake from 1030 to 340am because of a group of young drunks shouting being anti social all night."
• "Upon arrival... nobody appeared... we were told our booking didn't exist."
• "Only downside, paying £15 for 4 days Internet and it wasn't good enough to connect to Netflix."
• "The lakes are good but some fishery management re pegs and weed would make it a vastly better experience for anglers."
