  • "Cleaning times did clash a bit with peak use as other reviewers have mentioned."
  • "Unfortunately our mobile internet barely worked, probably owing to the surrounding mountains."

  • "As for the facilities - only cold showers in the shower block."

  • "Staff very helpful and pleasant."

Cons:

  • "Got turned away because I didn't have 'official ventilation' in my van - windows don't count as airflow."
  • "Very cold greeting here followed by being patronised, addressed as a ‘young couple’ and the warden insisting on inspecting our van inside before staying."
  • "The warden could have stopped at the grass edge and advised me politely of the site rules, he didn't even give me time to call my dogs over."
  • "Our only disappointment came from the head warden who... became intimidating."
  • "The warden’s try their best but always seem so busy, rules never seem to be enforced and the behavior of some other guests is shocking."
  • "The warden must have ignored this."
  • "Not a pleasant experience! Turned up to enquire about a pitch for one night."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Pitches are reasonably priced too. Definitely worth a visit."
  • "We booked a hard standing pitch with electric hook-up & the price was really good."

Cons:

  • "First visit and it will be the last."
  • "Been travelling for 10 days over the Highlands and although this is a lovely site it is £10 more expensive a night than any site we've stayed at with the for the worst washing / toilet facilities ie not enough heating by far at this time of year."
  • "At £26 for a pitch with electric, it's on the expensive side and that didn't include WiFi."
  • "Wifi Available at a cost or free at the shop and a small shop with limited stock. Rather expensive."
  • "Unfortunately, we've noticed a change in the atmosphere of the campsite over the last couple of years - post Covid."
