• "Been travelling for 10 days over the Highlands and although this is a lovely site it is £10 more expensive a night than any site we've stayed at with the for the worst washing / toilet facilities ie not enough heating by far at this time of year."

Location and Surroundings

Pros:

• "The local castle is very nice and has a great wee cafe for Scottish food and amazing gardens along with a good play park."
• "Great place right next to the river. There's a big rock yo climb and jump into the river from for the older kids."
• "Lovely wide spaces with clean facilities close to several beautiful hike trails in Cairngorms."
• "Fantastic site great facilities and right next door to Blaire Atholl which is a lovely village with a fab pub 'The Atholl arms' lovely walks around the site and village and a train station and bus stop to take you into Pitlochry."

• "Just stayed in the Mallard pod sofa bed was awful not fit to call sofa bed."
• "Peak season the site is busy, and we all expect some background noise into the evening, loud music and shouting seems to be the norm now with large groups of campers congregating, drinking, and partying well into the early hours."
• "Only issue we had is that our plot was under some trees in permanent shade with birds nests above (you can imagine the mess)."
