Venue Atmosphere

Pros:

  • "Both were amazing for different reasons."
  • "Excellent sightlines."
  • "What an extraordinary night meeting Gabrielle on the Rise Again tour. The ambience in the indigo was electric!"
  • "An amazing venue for concerts and it doesn't matter who is performing."
  • "Great Cradle of Filth gig last night!! Perfectly timed for Halloween weekend."
  • "I love this smaller venue at the O2. It has all the perks of its bigger arena brother but with way more character and intimacy."
  • "Great show with high energy. Cast worked hard to interact with the audience."

Cons:

  • "A soulless venue."
  • "The event was poorly organised, doors opened a good 45 minutes past the entry time."
  • "To go to a venue and not feel safe in a scary and dangerous situation is very scary and I would not return knowing no help is at hand if need be."
  • "Soultasia Disaster! People attending Soultasia at the Indigo O2 on 26th February were greeted with a hopelessly overcrowded standing area and queue at the bar 15-20 persons deep all evening."
  • "As we walked in the floor was horribly sticky, our shoes stuck to it- revolting."
  • "The party was overall very boring, not a huge attendance either - people expected something to happen and apart from the DJ playing nothing was happening the entire time."
  • "Saw comedy here last night, and won't be returning. Probably the least enjoyable experience I've ever had at a venue."

Seating and View

Pros:

  • "Decent-sized seats with sufficient legroom."
  • "Comfortable seating, efficient door entry, quick bar service."
  • "Indigo had a great arena setup and staggered seating, so you can see everything clearly regardless of seat."
  • "Seating was comfortable and spacious, with a cup holder."
  • "Seats and view are great."
  • "VIP seats in the balcony are comfortable and have a good view of the stage."
  • "The upstairs seating balcony also has great views and good access to bars upstairs."

Cons:

  • "Love being in the 02 but the Indigo is a poor relative! Seating is really bad so you cannot actually see much of the stage."
  • "Seats in the venue are of the narrow fold-up variety - uncomfortable and cramped."
  • "It's just a shame that the seating isn't very good, I found myself shuffling in my seat to try and comfortable for most of the second half of the show."
  • "The demountable seats are too close to walk down meaning half a row have to decamp for access and the weak bladdered."
  • "And the sides of the venue (near the disabled area) could only see about half the stage."
  • "The place is nice, although the seating layout is not great. If your on the ends of the stands your view would be obstructed by giant speakers."
  • "People who pay disable parking because they are bringing disable member of their family also need to pay for disable access for all which is outrageous."

Bar and Food Services

Pros:

  • "They even have a bar on the top behind the seats, so you don't have to go far to get a drink and return back to your seat very quickly."
  • "Nice bar area with prompt and efficient service."

  • "Having to queue for nearly an hour to be served is not acceptable."
  • "Lack of staff serving drinks throughout the night was a massive downfall as it was a minimum 30mins Queue."

  • "Let down last week by inadequate staffing-levels vis-à-vis checking of COVID-19 vaccination status."
  • "The hand dryers in the toilets can be heard in the auditorium throughout the show and the ladies had a sewer aroma coming from them."
  • "The only negative point is when exiting is having to fight past the queues for the cloakroom to exit the venue."
  • "Getting out of the dome is still a nightmare though: the tubes are rammed with people; taxis, minicabs and Uber are impossible; and forget trying to drive."
  • "Plenty of toilets and car parking spaces."
  • "Organization is very poor. Time at the ticket was 6pm, at 6:30 they only started to let people in."
