Staff and Doctors

Pros:

  • "Wanted to share our good experiences since 2014 and sending good vibes to the doctor, nurse and midwife team. They are all fabulous with our family."
  • "Babies had injections with wonderful nurses, super patient and really nice."
  • "Same vibes for the doctors we met and the reception, they are so helpful by the phone."
  • "I have been with this practice for over 20 years and the level of care I have received has been exemplary, even given the pressures staff are under."
  • "Even my hospital consultants have said how lucky I am to have such a great GP."
  • "In addition the admin team working behind the scenes could not be more helpful, and they too are working under increased pressures."
  • "When you get to see the doctors in the practice, I have always had good experiences."
  • "Never had a problem with the surgery. All the doctors are amazing and so friendly."

Cons:

  • "Honestly the GPs are amazing and are realllly caring but the receptionists/admin staff are really bad at their jobs."
  • "One of the worst GP ever. It is impossible to get an appointment whether it’s through the phone or online."
  • "It is impossible to get even a basic standard of care from this practice and I feel at a loss as to being able to access the medical attention I need."
  • "Literally worst service you can hope to receive. The people who work on reception have the worst attitude and manner."
  • "I received negligent advice and “care” while I was a patient at this practice - so had to go private at great personal financial cost."
  • "The GPs are ok however you never see the same one more than once and you’re lucky if you get to speak to one at all."

Appointment and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "While there wasn't a great deal of availability for the appointment - I was told there was only one day and one time - I appreciated that the time was in the evening after work which suited me very well."
  • "I arrived early, and though I didn't have the right forms with me, I was literally greeted by reception, had the blood test and sent on my way within 5 mins."
  • "I actually think it's a good surgery and has become much much more accessible since they introduced the online e consult."
  • "I used the GP phone service and was called back by my doctor within two hours."

Cons:

  • "Have been on hold for 52minutes and have been first in the queue for 30minutes of that."
  • "One of the worst GP ever. It is impossible to get an appointment whether it’s through the phone or online."
  • "This really is a terrible surgery! The website 111.nhs.uk said I should arrange an appointment with my GP asap. I called the surgery - the girl who answered was awful."
  • "To get an appointment - at least 20 minutes on hold."
  • "It’s almost impossible to get an appointment."
  • "One of the useless GP in the area, never answered the call, impossible to get an appointment."
