Security and Staff Conduct

Pros:

  • "Had a great experience here. Saw Jungle twice on the 12th of August, well organised with checking Covid passports and tickets etc. staff were generally very friendly and approachable."
  • "Good atmosphere at gigs and always a fun time."
  • "Drinks were served swiftly at the bar! Good experience."
  • "Friendly polite staff, one of our party was in a power assisted chair, door staff saw us straight in."
  • "The staff I met were great and a special mention to Lee on the door who was very helpful."
  • "The head doorman Mike was absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend is the drummer for the band that played and he treated our whole party so so well! Absolute gem!"
  • "Been a couple times, staff are lovely."

Cons:

  • "From very disrespectful door staff telling me to 'shut the f*** up' when I was trying to be friendly during entry search to floor security being overbearing whilst I was trying to make way for others, I would absolutely NOT recommend this as a good place to go clubbing."
  • "The worst place I ever seen! The staff is so rude and they are taking out people just because they refused to check their cash !!!"
  • "Bouncer grabs my two mates by the arms, one with bruises from the incident all because they were unknowingly stood by the fire exit."
  • "She has footage of the bouncer deliberately knocking her phone out her hand, leaving it damaged."
  • "Absolutely disgusting service and don’t have any respect to talk with people like security have so much attitude and racist comments."
  • "Security were extremely rude and arrogant."
  • "The security team is so rude and when you ask them a question they don't bother themselves to answer, they just easily look away and pretend they haven't heard you!!"

Club Atmosphere and Layout

Pros:

  • "Everyone gets in quickly and in the order they queued in due to the layout without needing to rush."
  • "Great Club, Great DJ's, Great Time."
  • "One of the best clubs I have ever been to, customer service is exceptional."
  • "For my first time ever going to a club, it was one of the best nights ever."
  • "Probably my favourite venue I’ve ever been to."
  • "A great venue for live music. Lots of different places and levels to see the stage from and 3 bars in the main room."
  • "It is very nice inside and we all had a great time."

Cons:

  • "Unfortunately, me and my girlfriend missed the gig... as I was not allowed to enter, given that I didn't have my passport or driving license with me."
  • "Absolutely awful. They closed their doors early for the 'Freedom - First Dance'."
  • "Avoid this place. Music and the venue is fair, good sized. You will always have trouble getting in, many times just refuse entry for no exact reason."
  • "Layout of the venue is good, with a few tiered areas for different views of the stage, although the speaker arrangement meant that much of the audience view was blocked."
  • "The music choice in there was extremely questionable. The carpet was so sticky."
  • "It’s not a great layout for gigs and the stage view is often obscured from any side angle."
  • "Not very clean toilets or bar tops, very sticky flooring and they sometimes overdo it on the smoke machines."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "We got all this for £20 per person. This is less than an entry to a crowded central club."
  • "I luckily went on a day when they had student prices at one of the bars."
  • "Drinks were reasonable, £6.40 for a double."
  • "The waitresses were very pleasant, attentive and did a really good job for us."
  • "We celebrated our friends birthday. Booked private booth."
  • "These two really made our experience truly wonderful. Stellar night, thank you!"
  • "The staff and bar staff were very accommodating and let me store the milk in the fridge until it was time to leave."

Cons:

  • "Hardly any ventilation (stuffy), unreasonably expensive drinks."
  • "A joke of a club. £9 entry, waited a over 20 mins at a bar to be told they didn't have any cups..."
  • "The only downside being the ridiculous bar prices, £6 for a small can of beer/cider."
  • "Over £7 for a 330ml can of Moretti. Are they sure?"
  • "For a 330ml can of IPA, and a rum and ginger beer to cost £18 (almost twice the price of the actual talent on stage) is nothing short of scandalous."
  • "Nice venue but will try and take you for your money, kicked so many people out for no reason, staff are extremely rude."
  • "Do not go here at all costs management are terrible!!"
