Exhibition Quality
Pros:
"The current exhibits from the Prince of Wales' tour of India contains some amazing objects."
"Wonderful unmissable exhibition of masterpieces from royal collection."
"Although compact the current exhibition is incredible."
"A truly stunning display of pieces from the Royal Collection."
"The Leonardo da Vinci exhibits are world class, in-depth and saturated with data."
"A fascinating exhibition with truly remarkable pieces."
"The current exhibition of some of the works of Leonardo Di Vinci are excellent, it's amazing how much and how varied this artist's work is and how well it has been preserved."
Cons:
"For the price, I would not recommend this as a stop."
"We couldn't see everything with the high amount of people in the building."
"The actual exhibit that was on when we were there was strange. It was mostly all drawings."
"It was interesting, just not worth the price."
"I was very disappointed with the small number of items on show, given the entrance price you have to pay."
"The artwork was good BUT there were only three rooms of artwork for an unreasonable fee of £16.00."
"However, i found the exhibition to be in slightly bad taste. Most of the exhibited goods were essentially tribute's to the British Raj or BEIC, being given over, if not at gunpoint, under threat of punishment."
Value for Money
Pros:
"Always good value and particularly so after being closed for so long."
"You don’t need to pay extra for audio guides and cloakroom is free too."
"Ask for your ticket to be stamped and you can go back as many times in one year as you like!"
"The ticket lasts for a year so it really is excellent value."
"Converting your ticket to a year's pass also makes the experience very good value."
"Bonus was if you get your tickets signed at the end you can come back any time over the next year, which turns a bit of an expensive visit into very good value."
"Very good value if you live in or visit London frequently as then entry fee gives access for 12 months from the date of your visit."
Cons:
"Very expensive and small."
"Royal palace, 30 pounds for a 45 min visit... too expensive and not able to take pictures inside."
"It is not also worth it to pay £17!! Even is not worth it to spend time there for free."
"The ticket lasting for a year does not justify the £16 spent."
"The pricing first of all is expensive, even though at first glance it looks like to be a good deal."
"Some art work were interesting but I don't think it justifies the price."
"It saddened me that things like marriage are being used commercially. It was also priced for tourists."
Staff and Service
Pros:
"The staff are exceptionally helpful and polite."
"Staff seemed absolute gems."
"The staff were really lovely though!"
"The knowledgeable and friendly staff added to the overall positive experience."
"Staff were really friendly and had amazing knowledge about questions I had."
"The staff was very helpful and I enjoyed the possibility of visiting the surrounding park too."
"Staff are very friendly and helpful, befitting the place."
Cons:
"Organisation was ok but a couple of the staff were a little grandiose, particularly in the search area."
"However the venue was surprisingly not that inspiring."
"But need a little bit more customer training."
"Explanations to each painting are very poor and service was very inefficient."
"This wasn't the case in the shop, where we were made to feel very uncomfortable."
"Very disappointed with the 'shop' - hardly anything available to purchase to do with da Vinci as 95% + was Royal (very expensive) tat."
"DaVinci probably deserved a better representation, especially with curators not careful in indicating the appropriate sequences of the voice guide on the wall."
