University Facilities
Pros:
"The IT facilities are very good and IT rooms have plenty of computer and there was no overcrowding."
"The Uni building might not look much from the outside but it has more than you can ask for(gym, sports area for basketball, football, a massive library with a huge study space, hundreds upon hundreds of PCs/Chromebooks you can use to aid your studies, canteen, a café, coffee shop, one of Europe's biggest laboratories, countless workshops and much much more)."
"In October 2006 the University opened a new Science Centre as part of a £30m investment in its science department."
Cons:
"The actual campus is small but fine and the canteen is expensive!"
"The white office building has so much dirt and marks."
"Old exterior of the main building that looks about to collapse and has hideous bird nets."
"The site is difficult to navigate, room numbering seems to have little flow."
"The logos/names of our university are barely visible on the building."
Staff and Lecturers
Pros:
"The lecturing team were highly qualified and authoritative in their respective fields."
"The Lecturers are the best I have ever come across their true academics, with an incredible amount of knowledge and experience in the field of their subjects."
"Lecturers are brilliant, approachable and always supportive."
"Teachers(at least on my course) are some of the most helpful ones I met so far, they spend extra time out of their own day to help students with tasks and provide extra office hours for even more help if you didn't get something during a lecture."
"Staff are super helpful plus the lecturers were so easy to get in touch with."
Cons:
"Most of the lectures do not have a clue what they are talking about."
"lecturers don't have any knowledge or experience whatsoever."
"The lecturers have limited english skills and often struggle to understand what the students tell them."
"Very poor teaching. Some teachers do not even know what they are talking about."
"One lecturer spent the lecture promoting her book she wrote herself."
Student Support and Administration
Pros:
"As a mature student I was truly supported in everyway."
"They took me on as a mature student with only five O'levels and I am thankful they gave me a chance to excel."
"Incredibly responsive, helpful and welcoming staff for all your inquiries and needs."
"Everyone here are helpful and responsive, guide us well through the process."
Cons:
"My experience with the university is very bad. Lack of leadership and management skills in every level."
"This is definitely the worst University ever! The level of organization is poor to say the least."
"I spent 3 months applying for my MSc... but the admin team let me down so significantly."
"They are completely disorganized."
"I suffered in September 2022 to get my CAS, after I paid my deposit I got my CAS after two months and the course had already started."
"I've sent them an e-mail on the 6th of september to change my modules for next year and I've got no answer."
"This is a feedback only to the offices team. They are absolutely not helpful."
