  • "Great play areas for children to run around in and explore."
  • "The sculpture trail was great and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it."

Cons:

  • "One thing that put me off a bit is that there's a sewage treatment plant in the middle and on the day we visited it smelled a bit."
  • "There were also loads of wasps which wasn't great."
  • "Some services no longer open, e.g., Games room and Miniature golf."
  • "Paths not really suitable for wheelchairs/scooters as very steep."
  • "The trails were - at this time of this year April very muddy and hence hard going."
  • "Some bits seem quite unkempt and not very looked after."
  • "After going today, all I saw the shameful remains of freshly logged trees and destroyed habitat."

Parking and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "Parking £ 3 all day."
  • "Only £3 parking all day!!!! Bargain."
  • "Car Parking is £1 per hour or £3 all day."
  • "Entry is free, though you must 'pay and display' to park (£1.50 for an hour, £4 for all day, £35 for 12 months)."
  • "There is paid parking available free disabled parking with a badge!"
  • "At £4 all day parking with no entrance fee, it makes it a reasonable day out too."
  • "All main paths are hard surfaces allowing easy use for cycles, buggies, mobility scooters and the not so steady on their feet."

Cons:

  • "Parking needs cash... catches a lot of people out."
  • "Parking is a little expensive but either 2 hours or all day."
  • "The pay and display machines weren't easy to find and when I did find one it was out of order."
  • "The bad bit was the carpark: only taking coins. In the current situation, that's very disappointing."
  • "Car parking charging needs to be looked into... £1.50 for an hour or £4 for all day."
  • "It is £1.50 for 1hr parking and £4 for 4 hours. You cannot get everything done in 1hr, so I find the parking a bit pricey."
