Trainer Expertise and Knowledge

Pros:

  • "Stephen was very knowledgeable and was able to offer advice as to how best ‘tweak’ our feeding routine."
  • "Julie was amazing with her and us. She was so understanding, absolutely not judgemental in the slightest and you can tell she actually cares about you and your dog and loves her job."
  • "Stephen showed us lots of training and ideas to do with Aldo and in his report on all these he advised us where to get everything from."
  • "Martyn gave advice about a new kind of gentle head collar and advised clicker training to help engage Teddy."
  • "Julie quickly understood the issue, and was able to provide really useful guidance."
  • "Stephen talked us through a training plan, demonstrated a lot of techniques and helped us understand how to help our girl relax into a better routine."
  • "Max was brilliant with Louie, he has such a love for dogs and got Louie paying attention and listening very quickly."

Cons:

  • "They failed to actually train my dog after 3 weeks of supposed residential training and returned to me a dog completely untrained!"
  • "Not impressed with initial communications with the actual company."
  • "Didn’t really achieve anything with the session. Left £175 poorer and never had any contact from the trainers after."
  • "I complained and was left with no feasible solution to the problem, also refusing to issue any refund."
  • "And now they refuse to refund any money and act with dishonesty. Run for the hills!"
  • "On top of this, while in their care, they consistently underfed, harmed, injured and neglected my dog in allowing him to be attacked and, leaving me with the vet bills."
  • "I do not recommend, it did nothing to my dogs."

Communication and Updates

Pros:

  • "We were kept up to date of our new pup's progress from birth to collection. Photos and videos were provided daily as well as some very helpful dog training advice."
  • "I received updates throughout the week to see Hugos progress and at the end I had a hand over to teach me how to handle Hugo."
  • "Also great to know we can contact Julie to ask questions if we have any issues or concerns at any time in the future."
  • "Nigel was super helpful sending videos every day often more than one, always available to answer questions always within a few minutes."
  • "I was given daily updates on my pups training sessions with videos and pictures of him training."
  • "We enjoy our daily video pupdates, being able to watch the pups grow and make sense of the world around them and seeing Mum happy and healthy."
  • "I received regular video and photo updates each day to show his progress or just to check in to show how well he is being loved."

Cons:

  • "Contacted and they got back very very fast which was great, the session was helpful, but the after care not really so much, really found it difficult to get in touch with on going problems and problems we addressed in the training that still isn't working."

Training Effectiveness and Techniques

Pros:

  • "We have seen immediate progress and changes in Kobe, and are very excited to start the long term plan with him."
  • "Since Martyn has been there has been a real improvement in my dogs behaviour when we are out and also when at home."
  • "In the 2 hour session, I could already see improvements in Winston’s behaviours."
  • "Once he was used to the collar (which only took a minute or two) he walked beautifully and his reactivity diminished!"
  • "We saw improvements immediately from the tips he gave us."
  • "It’s only been a few days but I can already see a huge change!"
  • "We have been trying these with Aldo already and seeing a great deal of difference in Aldos behavior and temperament."

Cons:

  • "We were unable to display any of the behaviour we were looking to improve, the trainer essentially said you have a well behaved dog."
