Lead Work and Disengagement Training

Pros:

  • "Within minutes of arriving we had been shown how to use the collar correctly and the art of loose leash walking with the basic commands."
  • "On leaving he listens to commands such as heal, and can gain control over him without even pulling him and walks next to us when walking."
  • "He was completely disengaged from us - pulling on the leash and listening to no commands when out for a walk and only knew how to take us for a walk."
  • "We had various problems with our XL bully being quite reactive and pulling while walking."
  • "We travelled up to see Mudge today with our XL Bully. He was out of control on the lead and within a few hours and guidance from Mudge the difference is unbelievable."
  • "My pocket bully was very hyper active on walks and pulled me all over the place. After only a few hour training with big dog fellas there was a huge difference."
  • "We brought blue to Big Dog Fellas as he was very reactive to every dog and reactive to some people. This training was amazing!"
  • "Had issues with our Labrador being reactive/aggressive to other dogs & occasionally people. Met with Mudge and sorted out the behavioural issues with some great training."

Dog Reactivity and Aggression

Pros:

  • "We had a session with Mudge for my dog Pepper's reactivity toward other dogs and people. Pepper, a lab x shepherd rescue, would react aggressively in nervous situations."
  • "Our lurcher was a rescue dog and had serious dog reactivity. After the session she could pass another dog without paying it any attention."
  • "Pablo is a 2 year old Xl bully who is extremely strong on the lead. He weighs more than me and I am now able to control him, walking to heal."
  • "We contacted Mudge about our dog reactive Jug. We have had other trainers and after spending around 18 months trying, we just wasn’t making that much progress."
  • "I recently rescued a stray German Shepherd that quickly became reactive to other dogs, barking and pulling on the lead."
  • "Beyond expectations! Walks with our GSD had become a chore as she was barking at every dog that passed, pulling on the lead and dragged us around for the last 5 years!!!"
  • "The best trainer! Helped our Pomeranian within 2 hours of our training session. Our Pom is a 7 year old rescue, she was reactive towards dogs, people, bikes you name it."
  • "Took our 14 month old leash puller German Shepard Otto to Mudge after seeing the wonders he performs."

Cons:

  • "We had a session with Mudge for my dog Pepper's reactivity toward other dogs and people. Initially, I was wary of a prong collar, but Mudge assured me of its safety and effectiveness."
  • "Our 7mo German Shepherd Hero, randomly became reactive to dogs and people and over the span of 6 weeks it got worse and we felt he was on his way to his first bite."
  • "Cassie our border collie had issues with pulling on the lead and was very reactive with people and dogs. I got to the point where I lost all confidence with her and could no longer walk her."
  • "We cannot thank Mudge enough for the training session with our 1 year old boxer, before the session we would dread going on walks as our boxer was reactive, pulling and constantly on high alert."
  • "Harlow..male German shepherd. 11 months. Pulling on the lead, reactive to anything that moved past him, people, bikes, squirrels. Lunging, barking at dogs that approached him."
  • "My 1 year old male German Shepherd x Australian Kelpie had major reactivity to other dogs, some humans and any small or farm animals since he was 6 months old."
  • "I met with Mudge today so he could help with my 4 year old reactive and nose led Staffordshire bull terrier cross, Gigi. She most definitely walked me, until the training that happened today!"
  • "Our big dog Hunter, a new English bulldog had 1-1 training today, due to his size (5 and half stone) and strength his pulling was overwhelming and painful, also his reactions to people and other dogs was a major problem."
