  • "Viet Shack is incredible, as simple as that, a Fabulous place for a taste of Vietnamese cuisine."

Cons:

  • "The beef in the pho was cut too thick and was too chewy."
  • "Another gentrification nation menu which has sadly had to adapt to the taste of middle class white people."
  • "Viet shack is a Vietnamese burger restaurant fusion. It wasn't very authentic."
  • "The bun noodles were plain white noodles with plain unseasoned chicken on top and a side salad, again unseasoned."
  • "Both meats were dry, and came with salads that were under-seasoned."
  • "The tuna in particular is fantastic. Surely one of the best restaurants in Manchester, without any pretension or ceremony."
  • "The chicken smell is super strong when I ordered the shack fries."

Cons:

  • "Service was really bad, waiting over an hour for food(nachos), asked for a drink twice and then had to go to the bar to get it myself."
  • "The food took over 1hr30 to arrive. We had to call as thought they’d forgot but they apologised saying they couldn’t get a driver."
  • "Ordered the 'Any dish with a beer, coffee or soft drink' for £9.99. Turned out later that what the small print is trying to say is: only Tiger beer qualifies for the deal AND it attracts a surcharge."
  • "Be prepared to wait an hour to get in while 5 empty tables kick around."
  • "Alright food but was told off by staff for having a conversation which definitely matched/ was quieter than ambient sound."

  • "Unfortunately it's becoming too busy, too successful for its size, too small and crowded and noisy people with no respect for others going there."
