Pros:

• "Lady at reception wasn't the most welcoming tbh but we only had to interact with her once."

• "A great place to have a small gathering. It has yurts to hire and has a variety of activities that go on for children and adults."

Cons:

• "The lovely streams and stepping stones had long queues of children and the whole place just felt crowded and a long way from the charming, spacious, and joyful place it used to be."
• "The pizza van had a 3 hour wait for food, which with young kids wasn't possible to do."
• "Don't eat from the Curry Leaf van! Shockingly bad quality."
• "Shame that the barn with table tennis and other games was not open, but understandable at the moment."

Family and Safety

Pros:

• "For young kids it is great, with lots of rope swings, woods, ditches and little streams to play in."
• "This really is a beautiful spacious campsite suited for families and couples alike."
• "Despite cars being allowed to drive all day, the site was extremely safe."

• "I used to come here when I was younger... it's still over crowded."

• "Stayed as a couple in the Tipi Trail, booked for 2 nights. However, after the misery of the first night we packed up the next morning and left. Overcrowed, filthy and noisy."

Shop and Food Options

Pros:

• "Shop is fantastic for all needs and wants."
• "There's washrooms and toilets, plus a nice sized shop on site for anything you want while camping, including wood for the essential fire at night!"

• "We love wowo, loads of places for the kids to burn some energy, countryside walks with a nice pub at the end and campfires with marshmallows in the evening."

• "Oh and please stop the vegan obsession in your shop. Vegan ice cream tastes rancid."
• "It's pretty expensive to stay there and the shop that sells stuff like hot coffee of insanely expensive!"
• "There was no water for most of the weekend... In our field there were about 150 people with only 4 shower cubicles and 2 additional toilets."
