Ambiance and Decor

Pros:

  • "It looks really nice and a great venue with fantastic decor."
  • "Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, beautiful features like the gin wall and the ginventory."
  • "A bit of post industrial shabby chic but it wears the costume well."

Cons:

  • "The toilets were not very nice and smelt pretty grim."
  • "Disappointing after refurb."
  • "So sad 0 star is not a possibility as this place does not even deserve 1… waitress unfriendly, you got to download and order from a non user friendly app."

Staff and Service

Pros:

  • "Staff super friendly accommodating and keen to make your experience great."
  • "Absolutely fantastic staff, and great venue! We also left two jackets here and they kept them safe so can’t complain."
  • "Great drinks and great vibes. Loved the service and the staff were very nice."

Cons:

  • "Terrible. They weren’t busy, but our table was dirty and remained dirty even after I asked staff to clean it. They didn’t bother."
  • "Bit of a weird one! The bar staff openly got very annoyed at people ordering from the app to order."
  • "As much as it is a nice place with a good atmosphere the service is appalling. Only one bartender meaning at least 30 minute queues for a drink."

Food Quality

Pros:

  • "The food was great especially the chicken wings."
  • "Really interesting and varied food menu quick service and the food tastes good."
  • "Great pub with loads of beer choices! They also have an outside area which is an afternoon sun trap."

Cons:

  • "As for the pizzas after the burnt ones were replaced... Really not amazing. The waffle one was a wild card and kinda on us as we did order it but dear lord was it bad."
  • "If you want a perfectly decent pint, accompanied by a half hour wait for some fries, only for them to be cold, soggy, and only about 7 of them, this might be the place for you....!!"
  • "We came for beers and food. The food was dry, sad looking and over priced. £8.50 for “loaded fries” which were a sad looking half plate of skinny fries."

Drinks Selection and Quality

Pros:

  • "I was able to order a Lemon Lime & Bitters with Vodka (best ever with heaps of bitters - felt like home)."
  • "I really wide drinks selection beers ales and gins."
  • "Visited for bottomless brunch and would thoroughly recommend…..food was good, I had a melt burger and the drinks were free flowing."

Cons:

  • "The pints were £7.40 each and it took ages to get served."
  • "Paid £8 for a pint of Camden Hells, ridiculous pricing and will certainly never be coming back here."
  • "But when it comes to food alone I would say 1/5 cause it took 45 minutes to get the food and I had to remind them 2 times about it."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Brunch at the Bridge Tap was brilliant! Such good value for money, and Chris and the team ensured that the drinks remained flowing."
  • "After spending the day doing the tourist walk around the sights, we ended up at Borough Market and just by accident we came across The Bridge Tap. Desperate for somewhere to rest up we came in and spent the next couple of hours, great food and at a very affordable price."
  • "A great pub with loads of beer choices! They also have an outside area which is an afternoon sun trap. Lots of craft beer choices - NEIPA's & Pale Ales (Gypsy Hill & Tiny Rebel etc)."

Cons:

  • "I paid £50 for two burgers and two drinks. We had to wait 40 minutes for the burgers to come out, and they both came out burnt."
  • "How can 560ml of alcohol be £7.40 alcohol is a product that kills 9000 people in the UK each year? I can buy 4 pints of lager in Aldi for £2.40."
  • "Worst nachos I’ve ever eaten. Cheap ingredients from a bottle, and tiny amounts of everything. Should have been £5 not £15."
