Parking and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "Parking is limited, cars only on the harbour, and no motorhomes allowed at all, so a very long walk up to the car park if you have a motorhome with you."
  • "Not very wheelchair friendly either the walk down, they have a lovely coastal built walk way up to the carpark at the top of the hill, only down side is lots of steps and half way and no good for wheelchairs, prams could probably be bumped up the steps at a push."
  • "Parking is expensive and I mean expensive I even parked in the further away car park, also it appears to be a scarce commodity."
  • "But the actual Jurassic coast and fossils was completely amazing! Worth a view and good fun."
  • "I would check your tide times to makes sure that you hit it just right and also try and avoid busy times because it soon became swarming with people."

  • "Since I found this beach and town, I take any excuse to get back there!"

  • "The beaches are both sand and pebble in different locations plus an enclosed area for dogs to run free and swim too."
