  • "Lamb, sweet potato, butternut squash, spice and cool creamy white sauce... wow that hit the spot."
  • "Had deep-fried haggis balls and a kilo of mussels. Both were excellent and very reasonably priced."
  • "The poshfish and chips were exquisite, haddock, sides of pickled onions and peas, brown sauce for chips."
  • "The food was tasty and the mars bar was so so good, highly recommend."

Cons:

  • "The onion rings let me down as the batter would slide off after my first bite."
  • "The batter to be very soggy and not crisp as shown on their menu."
  • "Food ok but haggis, mash and tatties served cold and hardly warm so 2 stars for not heating and serving steaming."
  • "Both items over microwave and no effort made with presentation."
  • "Nachos were soggy, fries were warm and the mac and cheese was good."
  • "Twice I've been here and ordered food which there has been a problem. It's a shame because it's a quaint quirky place, but to be honest, overpriced and just not good enough."

Cons:

  • "Would have given 5 stars if not for the bartenders not knowing what wines they have and then getting a little impatient when we refused to just have any white they see nearest to them."
  • "However, the attitude of some of the staff needs to be addressed. We were routinely ignored and given dirty looks by 2 female staff."
  • "Would have loved to have a few drinks here, unfortunately the waitress was not attentive and rude on top of that."
  • "Good food but terrible customer service. The bartender didn’t want to split our bill because 'it will take time and it’s not easy' for him."
  • "Waitress a bit too rushed.. Kept running away as quickly as she got to the table."
  • "Asked at the bar about sitting outside... waited 10 minutes before calling the waitress, she was very rude."
