Location and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "We discovered this place by pure accident as our cycle path on the grand canal was diverted and we saw this on our diverted path."
  • "A lovely Maroush experience in a very strange location in Park Royal."
  • "The location is off the main route but easy enough to find with a sat nav and parking could be better (it's very tight and not a lot of it for the restaurant size)."

Cons:

  • "Even when the sat nav tells you it's around the corner, you find yourself not quite believing it because you are in the middle of an industrial estate."
  • "Parking is somewhat limited and hard to park."
  • "I turned up before 8:00pm today to be told by the security at the gate there is no space in the carpark."

Ambience and Setting

Pros:

  • "But once you've parked up and go in, you realize it's a lovely setting for this spacious restaurant."
  • "The ambiance is a modern cantina feel, that's both light and airy."
  • "It's a lovely space and of course the food is good and the service is lovely and prompt."

Cons:

  • "Restaurant of this calibre should have air conditioning facility."
  • "Ambience is not a pleasant experience at this location - this is due to the flooring and acoustics - every time someone moves a chair the grating sound is unbearable."
  • "Sadly either the brand is deteriorating due to quality of food or this particular location needs help."

Service and Staff

Pros:

  • "Staff are attentive and very good - though I'd recommend they make eye contact when taking your order rather than looking around uninterested."
  • "We were taken good care of and made to feel at home."
  • "Service is excellent with a very jovial touch akin to the levels you would expect in Lebanon itself and is commended."

Cons:

  • "Would definitely come back for the excellent staff, the food and the ambience."
  • "Service was quite poor. Had to ask for water several times and had to collect my own menu as I got fed up waiting for one."
  • "The worst waiters ever. And shisha is very bad. The waiters don’t let u sit down unless u confirm you’d order a lot of food and not just have shisha."

Food Quality and Variety

Pros:

  • "All the food ordered was delicious. Would definitely come again."
  • "The food is very typical Maroush - fantastic Lebanese but at a place which is more convenient if you're not in the middle of London."
  • "The food is excellent by and large and well presented and decently priced for the portions."

Cons:

  • "PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THE PLATTER FOR 4!! They charged £140 for a handful of starters, the main course was a lamb shank (one) and three skewers of meat…"
  • "Sadly either the brand is deteriorating due to quality of food or this particular location needs help."
  • "Food and seating was good overall. A little over priced for what you get to be completely honest."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "The food is super fresh and tasty, If you come to west London, visiting this branch of Maroush is a must."
  • "I would only say that if you dislike chilli in your food, you might want to remind the waiting staff that you don't want the added Chilli dishes like Hummous."
  • "Very tasty the mint drink is different to the way it’s normally made this one is much smoother and has a hint of rose water I think which I prefer more it’s very refreshing!!!"

Cons:

  • "Food was tasty but pricey."
  • "The price was extortionate for the little food you did get, we were all shocked when we realised."
  • "Slightly expensive considering the area. Paying West End prices in a local area, which doesn't make sense."
