Admissions and Administration

Pros:

  • "King's is home to six Medical Research Council centres and is a founding member of the King's Health Partners academic health sciences centre, Francis Crick Institute and MedCity."
  • "King's College London holds a Student Visa license issued by UKVI that allows to bring overseas students into the UK to study."

Cons:

  • "Would give 0 stars if I could. Admissions team is downright rude and cruel, allowing UCAS to auto reject almost everyone on the deadline instead of letting us know before so we could get on planning our lives."
  • "literally the worst university to be an applicant for in the UK- no communication for over six months, no idea as to whether or not you meet criteria for interview."
  • "Sky-high fees for international students but insufficient administrative staff to process the necessary visa paperwork in a timely fashion."
  • "The only thing is that the admin is absolutely terrible. Confusing timetables that sometimes don't match real classes."
  • "The administration process during the degree is also abominable."
  • "Some other departments are an admin nightmare."
  • "Was on call to student services for over 1 hour 5 minutes because they were clearly not bothered to pick up."

  • "Maughan Library is a real treasure."

Cons:

  • "The security/reception team at the entrances of all campuses (the men in suits) are the most unpleasant and unhelpful public-facing team I have seen in my life."
