Tour Experience

Pros:

• "The first 15 minutes of the tour is how to make ropes which was alright but because I've seen it a few times in the area and it was busy because of the rain and loud kids it could have been removed."

• "The cave has its own pay and display car park and you then have about 200 yards of gently undulating walking to do to the entrance."

• "You have to book on line which is fair enough but as the booking system never loads up exactly how this is to be achieved is a mystery."
• "The ticket kiosk bloke was rude and a little sexist towards one of our group and seemed quite grumpy, possibly just having a bad day."
• "Unfortunately on our trip nearest loos were approx. 300mtrs away. Portaloos needed as near as possible as soon as possible."

• "We visited for the carol concert with brass band which happens on December weekends each year in the entrance cavern."

• "The entrance as stated is so large it was at one time lived in by an entire community making rope."
• "Interesting tour. A little spoiled by the entrance area being set up for a concert in the evening and our tour guide thinking he was hilarious but actually just insulting people."
• "The only downside is you can no longer go the full length of the cave as I did in my youth."
