Experience

Pros:

  • "One of the best Scotland's experience!"
  • "Really enjoyed our speedy boat tour on Loch Ness!"
  • "Inspiring and entertaining tour."
  • "Brilliant! Educational, fun and it snowed!"
  • "What a fabulous trip."
  • "Such an amazing time on the RIB boat today."
  • "A great cruise experience on Loch Ness."

Cons:

  • "On the cruise as I type this, waste of time."
  • "Don't bother doing this waste of time and money. Spend your time enjoying the drive and find better stuff to see around."
  • "Was a little disappointed it didn't go further a loch ness cruise should be a cruise of the whole loch ness not just a tiny part of it...."
  • "Overall a good tour, but I wish I'd gone for a quieter, smaller boat instead."
  • "The loch is very dull indeed. But for the famous myth (destroyed pretty quickly in the boat's commentary), there's precious little to see here."
  • "While the mini cruise ship was excellent and the staff were friendly, The entire trip is over-rated."
  • "I am afraid I have to give this a 1 star review."

Value

Pros:

  • "This cruise is definitely worth the money! I highly recommend the experience."
  • "The cruise was reasonably priced, it was both entertaining and informative, would recommend to everyone visiting the loch."
  • "Prices were solid, we had 3 adults and 1 kid. We paid 69.00GBP so was one of our cheapest tours and we learned a ton!"
  • "Excellent value for the money paid. £15 for 50 minutes."
  • "However, the price is fair (just 14£ per person) and it takes 50 mins, which is all we could afford at the time."
  • "Brilliant absolutely well worth £19 you get on a beautiful boat, and you see only a part of the loch, but the tour is really worth it!"
  • "I was pleasantly surprised at just how reasonably priced the tickets, drinks and souvenirs were on the boat."

Cons:

  • "Expensive for what it is. Ride on the lake but good to do once."
  • "A bit pricey at £19 per person, but good nonetheless."
  • "The entire trip is over-rated. Especially the price."
  • "Worth every penny, great fun, great skipper in Marcus."
  • "We were not thrilled about this as it meant that we paid the same price as other people, and got there earlier than they did, but had a lesser experience."
  • "This is a vessel which runs at a very slow pace, it only covers 1/4 of the lake's area, and there is not much to see."
  • "The boat was so full that there wasn't really an opportunity to move around and get a better view."
