Haircut Quality

Pros:

  • "Hair cut is always perfect from the second it's finished."
  • "Really happy with my haircut."
  • "Professional, quick but without being rushed, and most importantly the end result looked fantastic."
  • "Proper cut, reasonable price and friendly staff - 10/10."
  • "First class haircut."
  • "Absolutely superb cut at a great price."
  • "The cut was excellent and the barber took his time to perfect the cut."

Cons:

  • "The barber I got (Imran) was not very handy with the scissors."
  • "But it probably got worse when he started trying to bash and scrap it off."
  • "Over charging for terrible haircut and service. The barber didn't listen to what I asked for."
  • "Came back again and was left with a Sweeney Todd job. Patch on the sides, uneven fringe etc."
  • "Just had another haircut from here and didn't get my usual guy. Cut my hair way too short after me saying keep it long and keep my curls in."
  • "He ended up shaving a bald patch into the side of my haircut when fading it."
  • "Haircut was extremely rushed and incomplete even though no other customers at the place."

Customer Service

Pros:

  • "Been going for about a year, never had any kind of an issue and they always take the time to be polite and respectful to their customers."
  • "The whole team are really friendly and welcoming."
  • "The staff made me feel very welcome."
  • "Good location with parking, always very warm welcome and the level of service is one of the top I have come across."
  • "The service was great - friendly staff that make an effort to speak to you and consistently check if you'd like any drinks."
  • "All the guys are extremely friendly, helpful and professional!!!"
  • "Very friendly and accommodating."

Cons:

  • "What made it a little worse was he asked how long have I been going bold!"
  • "Only thing I can fault is some of the other barbers speak a different Language and can come across rude."
  • "There is no such thing as customer service especially when barbers communicate in turkish (or another eastern language) while cutting your hair."
  • "The staff were rude and trimmer the hair so strongly in a way that I was feeling my skin is being trimmed."
  • "Decent enough cut but the barbers spent the entire time I was there loudly chatting to each other over the heads of the customers who were generally ignored."
  • "The barber who cut my hair was very aggressive and careless in terms of his style."
  • "I have no idea how this place gets good reviews. I had my haircut so fast and when I asked why my hair was being cut so fast I got told about how much more money they could make if they cut more people's hair an hour."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "They’re well priced for a barber in this part of London."
  • "While I was waiting there were customers who paid less than 16£."
  • "An absolute bargain considering the attention to detail Ibrahim put into the cut."
  • "Walked out at 8.00am feeling like a million dollars and all for a shade over £20."
  • "Price is very reasonable considering it's central London location."
  • "The prices are very reasonable for the location, service and finish."
  • "A £20 cut (£18.50 + tip) is a rip-off at some barbers but feels like a bargain here."

Cons:

  • "The only 'annoying' thing is they only accept cash."
  • "It's a pretty meh barbershop - it's very far from premium but has the arrogance to charge for a quality service."
  • "£21 is a little expensive but I gladly pay it knowing they will do a great job every time."
  • "Only downside is it is a bit pricey in my opinion at 21.50 but you get what you pay for."
  • "It was almost 25 pounds which is more than a joke."
  • "For a basic haircut avoid at all costs! Over charging for terrible haircut and service."
  • "Friendly staff and I was happy with the beard trim which took around 10-15min but was charged £16 instead of £11 as priced on the website."

Atmosphere & Experience

Pros:

  • "The banter between everyone there is entertaining as well."
  • "Jeff's Barbers has a relaxed environment, friendly staff."
  • "Also as part of the experience ask for a Turkish coffee."
  • "They always offer little extras like Turkish coffee with Turkish delight, trimming your eyebrows and burning the hair out of your ear."
  • "Lots of hot towels, scented shave oils and creams, and topped off with a quick arm/shoulder massage."
  • "Welcoming atmosphere in the room, with complementary drinks and magazines to kill time while waiting."
  • "Shop is old fashioned and really put you in a retro mood."

Cons:

  • "But my guy essentially only spoke to me as needed."
  • "When you have staff that play with cut throats like toys and making threats about it, it's not cool."
  • "Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait to have your hair cut."
  • "Staff may seem a little aloof, and it might be disconcerting at first that they talk amongst themselves in their own tongue."
  • "The first thing you notice when you walk in is the extra old interior, which clearly had once looked good but due to time passage now looks like it is about to collapse."
  • "Will not be returning again, given this experience and the prices being raised."
  • "Barber then stops cutting and aggressively moves close to me so I can smell his bad breath and points cut throat at me."
