Park Facilities

Pros:

• "Children's play area with lots of different things to do."

• "Prone to flooding round the foot paths when there is any amount of rain. Disappointed with the upkeep of the lakes."

• "This should be the best place to bring the family in the area. Unfortunately the local council has let it get into such a state with the lake which has needed dredging for years and the flooding which hasn't been properly tidied up."

• "Good car parking, with two hours free parking at the sports centre, extra time with pay and display."

• "Dreadful, car parking in a car park where you pay the price of a car park ticket plus a £50 ticket for not recognizing an extremely badly painted parking bay."
• "Really nice new park and 2 hours free parking if you park in the leisure center. Only marked it down a star because it's very busy - with tier 4 lockdown locally everyone has the same idea and the play area is rammed, coffee shop open for takeaways but the queue is huge and it's hard not to get close to people."

• "Always great for a walk, fascinating Roman museum just in the carpark and surrounded by the lovely St.Albans with plenty if nice restaurants and places to have a drink as well as the view of a stunning cathedral."

• "It's possible to get a drink or an ice cream and sit quietly to enjoy a period together."
