• "The park is quite accessible by train and isn’t too far from Birkenhead."
• "Love Eastham Park has a little tea room sells cakes ice cream etc. River and pub with children park in it."

• "Lovely place to visit nice walks 2 nice pubs stunning views lovely atmosphere nice big green area for sunbathing and playing, swing park, woods, squirrels, have a regular bike meet, very sociable place, been coming here all my life."
• "Brilliant day out if you like walking round an ancient Beech and Oak woodland. Also has a bear pit you can visit that has survived from when it was Victorian zoo!"
• "Ground was hard for walking after a few dry days so managed to push an elderly infirm relative round the perimeter of the woods in a wheelchair."
• "Has everything for a nice relaxing day out, beautiful Victorian woods for walks, 2 nice pubs for grub, fantastic views of Liverpool seafront, and lots of History here."

• "Can be a bit muddy in the winter, still, that's part of the fun!"

• "After your walk there are a choice of three cafes and two pubs all at the ferry so you are spoilt for choice."

• "Lovely peacefull wooded area on the banks of the river Mersey, plenty of free parking, pub with outside seating, viewing area overlooking the river with seating and views of Liverpool Airport directly across the river."
• "Good parking which is now charged, but when it is quiet you can park on the road at no charge."
• "Most seem to park for free on the street."

Cons:

• "Lovely little cafe hidden away only problem no toilet facilities and the public toilets next door were locked up."
• "Sometimes it can be dodge the doggy but there is a large area which is fenced and gated dog free zone."
• "You have to pay for using the car park now but at 50p for 1 hour or £1 for 2 hours it is certainly value for money."
• "The Mimosa cafe for a tea/coffee and fantastic cakes."
• "Would have been 5 stars but the children's play area was full of peanuts/peanut shells and my son is allergic to them so we couldn't play in there."

• "Apart from the occasional unfortunate lazy dog owners this is a great place for walking with kids, all sorts of adventures to be had The squirrels are so tame and eager to be fed."
• "Had a very enjoyable walk around the park, with my son which helped to take his mind off his cancer treatment for a hour or so, it was lovely hearing the birds in the trees."
