Atmosphere and Setting

Pros:

  • "The space is fantastic! Very futuristic, lots of neon colors, feels like a black mirror episode in the good sense!"
  • "The whole place is very modern."
  • "The space (both physical and virtual) forms a cocoon around our minds and bodies... A playful society permeates these walls."
  • "The atmosphere is clean."
  • "The reception is very clean, simple and inviting."

Cons:

  • "Spaces are pretty tight as well."

Gaming Experience

Pros:

  • "The gaming was superb. Everything was working fine, there were no errors or delays."
  • "The games are varied and offer great enjoyment."
  • "So much variety and games, 55min slot was not enough time!"
  • "The games were great and the heat and slight rumble immersion was superb."
  • "Loads of world's to discover."

Cons:

  • "There seems to always be problems. The screen was black for like 10 minutes but then they fixed it."
  • "One of the funniest things we ever did in London! Very immersive experience, but games often got tangled up."
  • "25 minutes are shown how each game works with staff. This should really be demonstrated in the pod as opposed to in my time."
  • "Unfortunatly we seem to have had one of the unique issues... We spent most of our time in loading screens or in the dreaded black screen."
  • "Each game seems to have a long load in screen which can take around 5 minutes or more."

Customer Service

Pros:

  • "Each member of the team was so friendly and helpful. Full guidance given and additional help is available."
  • "The team were always at hand and helping us navigate and guiding us at all the checkpoints."
  • "As soon as we entered we were welcomed by friendly staff who explained the whole process clearly."
  • "Staff are friendly but the experience isn't great. Had issues from the start."
  • "The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, and the bar is very cool."

Cons:

  • "Also can't seem to get hold of anyone and I've left my car key there."
  • "However I would not recommend this experience due to the constant issues I had with the equipment."
  • "Don't bother going there if u don't have some sort of experience or idea of VR games."
  • "Not sure if just my goggles, but the experience was a little fuzzier and laggier than in Hackney."
  • "It's alright. Too expensive and even when tech glitches happen on their end they don't really do more than apologize."

Price and Value

Pros:

  • "It's quite pricey, you pay £45 per 55mins. But for the experience of trying it, I believe it's worth it."
  • "You points you score in the games can go towards your drinks but we only got £2 off ours but it’s a great idea."
  • "Great Experience VR at its best. Kill Zombies or just walk around. Loads of world's to discover."
  • "The points you get off drinks doesn't amount to very much from a 45 min session."
  • "Staff were attentive and made sure we were fully briefed on what to do once inside the game."

Cons:

  • "For me and my partner at a whopping £84 pounds for 55mins."
  • "The teenager’s loved this place so much so I had to take my son and his friends twice however we had to look for the lowest price which is at 9pm."
  • "For the price paid you'd expect to earn enough tokens for a drink, but the 1£ accumulated doesn't go too far towards the 7£ drinks."
  • "It was great experience to virtually play a variety of games alongside my husband... The only downside was we had some technical difficulties a few times."
  • "Very expensive for an average experience. A good idea in principle but a lot of improvement points to make it a great experience."
