Site Maintenance and Facilities
Pros:
"Clean and well kept site as you would expect from the caravan club."
"The toilets were cleaned three times daily to a high standard."
"The toilets were very clean and the bonus was there were two blocks together so when one was closed for cleaning the others were open less than 3 strides away."
"Facilities were spotless (used the toilet block a few times). Waste facilities were well organised."
"Showers and toilets are clean with warm water."
"The campsite itself is quite large with decent size pitches and are all flat! And the toilet blocks are always kept clean and tidy by the staff."
"The site is kept exceptionally clean, tidy and well kept."
Cons:
"Caravan & Motorhome club site 06/08/22 £90 for 2 nights very surprised that it’s not been kept up to date, maintenance very poor it looks very dated."
"Showers are not great."
"The only thing I can criticise is the on site shop is poorly stocked and doesn't sell and camping/motorhome essentials."
"The site though is in desperate need of tidy up, and the facilities really need an upgrade."
"Regarding the facilities on site there’s just two loos and two showers open in the ladies and gents during this COVID period so be prepared to wait."
"I would give the site 5 stars but the toilet block is in need of a revamp."
"The beach did have a lot of dead birds on the beach. and a lot of debris."

"People skills need improving of the site management as they came across a little rude and power mad."
"Fantastic site, rude staff and very expensive."
"The site is great very clean. The park it self is great to visit but the caravan club staff are dam right rude and lack people skills."
"Shame about the staff on the slopes and toboggan."
"The doughnuts running this place don't allow Electric hookups for tents stating it's over safety concerns?"
"Low score not because of the great staff or because of the wonderful location, my wife and I tested positive for covid the day before we were to arrive at Pembrey and started becoming quite poorly, so we phoned office to move booking forward a week only to be told manager was quite happy for us to come or lose our money."
Accessibility and Location
Pros:
"Easy access from M4."
"Easy cycle ride into the lovely coastal village of Burry Port."
"It's an easy walk into the country park from here."
"Very conveniently located for a visit to the nearby Sandy beach."
"Within walking distance of the beach if your fit and healthy otherwise drive to one of the 8 car parks just behind the dunes."
"Great location with lots to do without using a car."
"Awesome location for dog walking and access to the coastal path."
Cons:
"Entry is a bit dear if you go more than once."
"It's not very 'Disabled' friendly. Car parking and access very poor."

"Be prepared for a walk through the dunes to the beach, not the easiest if you have mobility issues or use a stick."
"The visit to the park was very nice but it is not very accessible to those with disabilities I am in a wheelchair and my family struggled to get me around."
"Not sure what you would do if you had a wheelchair or difficulty in walking, on sand and a dog though."
"Have dogs but could not get to walk on the beach not good."
Value for Money
Pros:
"Just a lovely place to stay and the parking is reasonable too."
"Great value and loads to keep kids entertained."
"Super piches from £20 a night compared to C&MH club sites £40 plus per night so well worth staying in the park as it also includes you entrance fees into the park as well."
"It's £5 per car, which we really liked instead of having to pay 'per head'."
"£5 a day is a bargain."
"Really good value for money when considering how much other campsites charge."
"Amazing value for money! I mainly use it for walking my 2 dogs and we discover new paths everyday."
Cons:
"The parking was a bit steep at £7 for all day."
"Pizza van was quite expensive but still very nice."
"Great place to go for self family entertainment or just walking the dog. £5.50 entry fee which myself I find expensive."
"May be if they reduced the off peak prices, which do seem high, they might get more custom."
"Lovley site, bit to isolated for me .also i left my hook up cable home, they said they would not lend me one but i could buy one for 38 quid, and it would be cash only!!"
"The fully serviced pitches (more expensive) are in the worst location in the park. Tight close to each other like a Tesco car park."
"The cafe can get very busy and the service and food sure only mediocre."
