Shopping Experience

Pros:

  • "It's a fantastic shopping destination with a great variety of stores to choose from."
  • "Good indoor destination for shopping. Excellent options for food."
  • "Modern shopping centre that's a little marvel of architecture to me! It's very eye pleasing."
  • "Great shopping venue with ample parking and lots of big brand high street shops as well as independent."
  • "Cabot Circus is a shopper’s delight, with a diverse range of stores catering to every taste and budget."
  • "A very large, modern shopping centre with a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes and entertainment."
  • "The shopping palace is generally well kept and maintained."

Cons:

  • "Most of the stores for some reason do not open until 10am, which for a busy city I find a bit bizarre."
  • "The issue with Cabot is that it has no life. It isn't a unique place, and it is easily forgettable."
  • "I thought there was a poor selection of shops but a lot of food outlets."
  • "The variety of shops isn't amazing either."
  • "On the decline I'm afraid and sorry to say."
  • "Not much there to be honest, for a shopping centre and a city centre main. It’s small and not many activities are available."
  • "Shops are closed all over the place and it’s only a lead way to the rest of the shopping area where it’s so dirty that the pavements actually stink from being that dirty due to the bus stops ect."

Dining Options

Pros:

  • "Visitors to the centre can find cuisine from all around the world, from sushi to pizza to Indian food."
  • "One of the standout features of Cabot Circus is its impressive range of dining options."
  • "Great range of shops and places to eat."
  • "It has a great variety of food and retail outlets."
  • "There is a cinema and many possibilities for kids entertainment."
  • "The food court is massive with every possible food you can think of."
  • "You can find a variety of restaurants that you can go in instantly without a reservation."

Cons:

  • "I really dislike the toilets downstairs. They need a better system on the doors to say if the cubicles are occupied or not."
  • "The toilets are usually very busy, very smelly and unclean."
  • "When using the Cabot circus car park for a “platinum wash” the car come back just as dirty as it went in. The staff was very rude and intimidating."
  • "So many shops to choose from, however no bargain shops."
  • "It does get super crowded, though, especially around the market area."
  • "Can be over crowded sometimes."
  • "Restaurants are always busy so difficult to find table or you may need to stand for long time."

Design and Layout

Pros:

  • "Modern and spacious shopping centre, with some very interesting architecture and design!"
  • "The way the glass roof is shaped and the overall design of the area gives it an airport feel."
  • "With its spectacular glass domed roof covering three floors of shops, this has become one of the best shopping experiences."
  • "The architecture and layout are stunning, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere."
  • "A mall that's very easy on the eye. An amazing roof and the way it is designed in different floors."
  • "The centre itself was very clean, bright and well managed with plenty of security staff milling around."
  • "Beautiful shopping area that is semi undercover and has everything you could possibly need."

Cons:

  • "The layout of it is a little confusing so look up where you are going."
  • "Only down side is the structure. Huge amounts of space between walkovers and escalators make it a long walk to get to places which you can see just across the void from where you are."
  • "Bathrooms easy to find but gaining access to the upper levels can be a little confusing, escalators aren't necessarily close together and you may have to cross a few walkways."
  • "The shopping centre can be quite difficult to navigate with a pushchair or wheelchair as the lifts are not always easy to get to and are often very busy."
  • "Very strange place, neither a proper mall nor an open high street."
  • "Large part covered but the wind blows through and on a cold day it is perishing."
  • "The walkway to the 'covered' shopping area was leaking badly."

Parking and Accessibility

Pros:

  • "Also parking is available close by in the multistorey."
  • "Car park is large enough for you to find a space anywhere and it is not a far walk from the bus station."
  • "Parking is reasonable but difficult to get a space on Saturdays and christmas time as it's so popular."
  • "Masses of reasonably priced parking and all under cover so no getting wet when the weather is bad."
  • "Parking is vast and leads right to the mall which is a bonus."
  • "Parking is easy and affordable."
  • "Parking is available on site for reasonable costs with easy access to the shopping centre."

Cons:

  • "The carpark exit is so tight and narrow with pillars and kurbs I had no choice but to edge my vehicle over a kurb damaging a rear wheel."
  • "Expensive parking and inside the Clean Air Zone, so unless you have a new vehicle it becomes an expensive day out before you even buy anything."
  • "Returning after shopping there was little change. When trying to pay for the parking, the payment machine, on the floor we were parked on, was out of order!"
  • "Parking expensive best to go in weekday evening when parking is only £2."
  • "Parking is unreasonably expensive in my view."
  • "The car parking is quite expensive and it is always very busy and the carpark is sometimes full."
  • "But the parking is CRAZY expensive!!"
