  • "Everything we tried was tasty, originally presented but with authentic flavours."

Cons:

  • "The food and drink was so ridiculously over priced for the portion size and quality."
  • "The food arrived in unnatural staggered intervals, with the majority being fatty and cold."
  • "The food was good but definitely not worth the price."
  • "Food a little bland and flavour is quite one dimensional... the venison doughnut should be full of flavour and succulent but it was just the opposite."
  • "However the gravy was simply bland and dull, we had to add a bit of salt to highlight its taste."
  • "Then the soft shell crab which far too greasy and too much fried dough. Barely could taste the crab."
  • "Most of the food was fried or deep fried and there was too much added fats and sugar."

Cons:

  • "Sadly service was a real let down on Saturday."
  • "Service really lacking, and very very questionable that drinks are kept in the bathroom as pictured."
  • "Spoke to Sophie who could do with extra training on her telephone manners on how to speak to potential customers."
  • "And the waitress that served our table had a fake smile which was so fake."
  • "Not so keen on the service."
  • "The head waitress seemed to have no enthusiasm at all and did not seem to be bothered if we come or not."
  • "We were met with a condescending (short) waitress who rolled her eyes as she walked away from our table."

Ambiance and Space

Pros:

  • "The small space is fun."
  • "It exudes a different energy."
  • "The atmosphere is very relaxed."
  • "A cosy, out of site restaurant serves very special, strong taste india food from all over india."
  • "Interior is tiny, but that creates a nice cosy atmosphere."
  • "Nice atmosphere!"
  • "Imagine a tiny, intimate, up-close-and-personal place with spicy hot and incredibly creative Indian tapas."

Cons:

  • "The place is really small which wouldn't be a problem if they wouldn't have squeezed the absolute maximum of tables in there."
  • "We were squished into a table normally meant for 4."
  • "I felt I bit stuffed in and could not really relax in my seat."
  • "The restaurant isn't welcoming or a great space, high chairs and tables."
  • "Need to point out, it's all bar chairs and high tables, if you are disabled or have limited mobility, I'd go to the Tower Bridge or Soho restaurant, best check seating beforehand."
  • "The restaurant was so loud and cramped we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer."
  • "The space is crowded and uncomfortable and only holds 26 covers."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Good value for money and decent food."
  • "The feast menu (45 pounds per person) is a great deal if you want to try a bunch of different things."
  • "Some of the portions were tiny but I must say it was worth the money that we spend."
  • "Moderate pricing."
  • "Amazing service. Moderate pricing."
  • "The food was really really good, you can feel the Indian touch in that, for a fair price."
  • "The spinach paneer was the best dish! Also great value."

Cons:

  • "It is on the pricy side though as they recommend you order 5 dishes between two people."
  • "Overall I felt like the cost was too high for my liking."
  • "Portion sizes are quite small for the price you pay in typical London fashion so expect to spend more than 30/40 a head if you want to feel full."
  • "Can't say it is cheap (like any tapas) if you eat enough to be full."
  • "The prices are bit high as it came around 25£ pp for us."
  • "Good food, but very expensive if you look at final bill."
  • "However, portions are small not enough for 1 and overly priced flavourless food if someone can back me up, good for non-Indians as they may not be aware what really expensive Indian food should taste like."
