Attractions and Activities
Pros:
"Lovely farm, lots for the children to see and do but also really enjoyable for adults."
"There’s a ‘tiny town’ play area with a vet/shop etc for children which was great."
"They put on a dinosaur experience and didn’t disappoint. They had rangers that stayed in convincing character the whole time."
"Had a fantastic evening at Manorafon Farm with family! Lots of effort clearly gone into making this event enjoyable for all! Band was great, the fire dances were very good, the Halloween trail was great fun & the characters were brilliant."
"The 'Dinosaurs Adventure' was absolutely fantastic as the animatronic dinos and puppets were extremely realistic."
"They had a soft play, play town, large climbing castle, 2× bouncing pillows, sand pit with diggers, playhouses, outdoor music area, maze and go karts for free."
"The animals were all out and very willing to have a pet and a feed."
Cons:
"The animal part was not as good as the dinosaurs but we came for the dinosaurs the most anyway."
"Food selection was very limited - only downside."
"Some reptiles and there is a petting corner. Check the times but they had baby bunnies to stroke."
"Only thing I didn't like at all was that lots of people didn't seem to care about the lovely animals here."
"Unfortunately not too many animals to see, staff is really nice and procedures for Covid are in place."
"The indoor 'tiny town' is run down, lacks entertainment interactions."
"Disappointing experience, unless you are into Goats, there are other animals but mostly goats."
Staff and Service
Pros:
"The staff are absolutely lovely, all across the farm and the dinosaur adventure."
"Staff were fantastic controlling the puppets and were so good a kind and patient with the children."
"Staff were so friendly and helpful. Plenty of animals to view, pet and feed."
"All the staff were so lovely and kind and spent time talking to my 5 year old."
"The staff member who took the time to talk to her about the bunnies really made her day."
Cons:
"3 of the activities were closed because staff were on their lunch every time we went to it."
"The children I brought with me had a lovely time crawling around and 'meeting the bunnies'. If I could just make a few suggestions... I couldn't see anywhere where I could heat their food up."
"My daughter applied for a job here 4 weeks ago and was hired immediately, filled in contract, any forms needing to be done etc and was told she would work Wednesday's Thursday's Saturday's Sunday's. Since then she has received no word at all."
"Staff still very professional and helpful."
"My only complaint was I was pitched next to the tented area by the farm park and it was quite noisy during the day."
Cost and Value
Pros:
"We were nearly put off by the upfront cost, but so glad we jumped and got tickets. There's very little additional cost once you are there, and even the food is very reasonably priced."
"Absolutely brilliant and fairly priced."
"Wonderful wee animal petting and feeding farm in North Wales. Only opened in 2014 but have made an amazing place for kids. At £5 pp off peak it's amazing value for money."
"Such a fab place to visit. Thought it was great. In addition to the animals there are numerous play areas to keep the kids occupied for hours. Pig race was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Great value for money."
"Excellent day out, my granddaughter loved it and there was lots for her to do and she really enjoyed feeding the goats and other animals."
Cons:
"Was a little disappointed with our visit here yesterday, the Easter one was amazing, cost us £85 with not much going on for children."
"Unfortunately, we found the whole experience overpriced and overrated. Exactly same jokes performances as last year. Nothing new or updated."
"We visited here this week... For 2 adults and 1 child, it was £40.50 and it took us less than 1 hour to walk around the animals that were there."
"Very expensive for what you get children are £17 each they can only have a very small Pumkin even though you have paid £2 for it if you want to change for a bit bigger Pumkin it’s an extra £5, parents pay £15 each to supervise the child."
