Park Facilities

Pros:

• "Amazing large park, walled garden and community allotments."

• "The playgrounds are well looked after and plenty for children of all ages to do."
• "Splendid Park, largest in Trafford, brilliant for kids of all ages with two play areas, tennis courts, disc golf, animal farm, athletics track and a superb Café to enjoy."

• "There's an animal enclosure which is a fave of the kids with ducks, geese, rabbits ect."

Cons:

• "A lovely green space but in absolutely desperate need of significant investment and improvement, especially better drainage."

• "The carpark is also in need of some work as it was extremely boggy."
• "Parking on nearby streets causes issues for residents with cars that live nearby."
• "Often very busy, car parking can be difficult."
• "Personally I would avoid some of the grassed areas in winter unless you have suitable footwear."

• "I still don't know why and how Trafford Council got away with demolishing Longford Hall. It was a listed building and a bit of money spent renovating it rather than destroying it would have been so much better."
