• "The general clean and tidy appearance of this oasis in the city was such an improvement on our previous, long time ago, visit and the boating lake with its water airing system is now a wild life haven, well done Manchester and especially the volunteers."

• "Every time there's a long weekend or holidays park is officially full of junkies and drunk heads; taking all kinds of drugs and getting drunk in the middle of the day right next to our little babies."
