Facilities

Pros:

• "The garden itself is really nice there is mini gold and tennis facilities to rent."
• "Attached are ornamental gardens with a summer cafe and water features."
• "The crazy golf was great fun and not overpriced."
• "The playground is one of the best in the area and Wild Wood is so great as a safe way for kids to take risk."
• "Great all year round for outdoor fun, home of Wildwood treetop adventure, great playground paddling pool in summer duck pond and a cheap but cafe (seasonal opening), putting green, tennis courts skate park open space and sensory garden."

Cons:

• "The 'food' from the concession stand is also a let down, so bring a picnic :-)"
• "The carpark is a joke. You can only park in the carpark at certain days otherwise you get a whopping £100 parking fine."
• "Parking a nightmare though as there was an event at the Spectrum."
• "Only downsides are that the shack isn't open all year round and that there are often lots of workers around in large vehicles and machinery, somewhat spoiling the experience."

• "I'm not overly impressed by this Park mainly because it's not great for dog walking and I much prefer Farnham Park in Farnham or Frensham ponds or Alice Holt or Bourne Woods to the south of Farnham."
• "Whole town is unfriendly to dogs. This park only allows them on leads, which anyone worth an intelligent, active dog will know its useless."
• "It's a good open space, but the paths are too narrow in places for social distancing."

• "Lots of runners and joggers who have no regard for Covid distancing."
• "Parking difficult because it seems to be on road and therefore limited."
• "Large old urban park, dominated by mown grass. Isolated from town centre because access from Stoke Road is very bad."

Cleanliness & Maintenance

• "The council look after the place well so it’s clean and tidy and everyone respects it."
• "Paths clean so didn't slip(damp day) Skate park fully utilised, clean and safe."
• "Grounds and gardens kept beautifully by a team of hard working gardeners. They are a credit to the council 👏"
• "Plus woody doggy patches for toilet moments with lots of poo bins and regular bins lots of maintenance going on so super clean."
• "Lovely place, very well kept. Big open green space to play in, along with outdoor gym area, oriental pond, kids play area, cafe, splash park etc. superb"

• "The toilets can be a bit gross on a busy day though."
• "Concerned that people are using the open air gym structures, and the play ground is packed out. No cleaning of any apparatus is being done."

• "Guilford spectrum swimming... hygiene levels there are much to be desired... changing rooms are small... high levels you could see it hasn't been cleaned for months or years with rust marks visible on the white air ducts around the roof of building."
