  • "The ‘roast’ potatoes had a texture like wet paper."
  • "The veg tacos which were soggy and had no flavor."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "The food was really tasty. Between my partner and myself we had 5 courses and two soft drinks, which came to £60, which I thought wasn't bad."

  • "The food is expensive but good quality and they serve craft beer."

Cons:

  • "The roast had raw veg, watery gravy and tough gristley meat. All for the amazingly high price of £21!"
  • "Visited the Lass on Sunday 15th for lunch, my beef roast was not great and for £21 represented poor value for money."
  • "You don't get anything for your money... you get minuscule portions for extortionate prices."
  • "My chicken and chorizo salad was extremely basic for £13."
  • "As with so many pubs who class themselves gastro pubs the prices are quite high especially for the small plates, example the crab cakes were pretty awful, 3 little balls which were tasteless!"
  • "My friends had burgers and fish pie which they too found OK but extremely overpriced."
  • "We waited over 1 hour 15min for food which was served cold."
