  • "Anyway my vegan friends dinner was abysmal in every sense."
  • "Possibly the most expensive steak and ale pie I've ever had in a pub, and for that I got a pie that was overcooked and dry with meat that was so tough I could barely chew it."
  • "But roast potatoes a real failure - had they been re - heated from another day??"
  • "I ordered plaice & chips which arrived fairly quickly but the fish had been well over cooked and was like cardboard."
  • "The roast itself was a case of quantity over quality, massive piles of average stuff and some Yorkshire puddings slightly burned."
  • "The lamb was chewy, the potatoes were soggy and old, not a great meal..."

  • "Staff really rude and left a bad taste in my mouth."
  • "We booked the table at 11 for 12 and was 10min early... just to be promptly shouted at by the blonde lady with the nosering behind the bar..."
  • "Me: 'Excuse me, I think my pint is flat' Barman: Puts straw in pint. 'I see bubbles, no it's not.'"
  • "The staff girl who attended us was lovely and nice but there was another staff that I found him a bit rude in the way he spoke to us."

  • "Though the loud music made it hard to hear my friends."
  • "Pub seemed ok but it’s very expensive we popped in for a hot drink they charged £4.15 for a cup of tea and £2.90 for a draft coke!!"

Cons:

  • "Sorry, but when I'm paying the rip off prices this pub charges, I expect a bit more than a bag of frozen french fries bunged in the deep fat fryer."
  • "Used to love this pub and always enjoyed the food here but it's just too expensive now and the quality doesn't justify the price."
  • "Outrageously expensive! A pint is 5,40£ this is definitely too much."
