Burger Quality

Pros:

  • "Best vegan lunch in London. Probably also the best plant-based burger I’ve ever eaten."
  • "Very tasty and well cooked. You would have to look twice to believe it was a vegan burger."
  • "The flavours and textures of the chicken burgers are amazing!"
  • "Great burger and you can't really feel its not real meat."
  • "The burgers we ordered had tasty and interesting flavour combinations."

Cons:

  • "Now they are extremely mundane and you can taste the lack of care in comparison to before."
  • "The burger stuffing was alright I guess nothing amazing but good for what it is."
  • "The quality has definitely dropped recently, especially the ‘chicken’ which was much better before."
  • "The shroom patty was quite tasteless and chewy. The overall burger was stodgy."
  • "Severely disappointed with the quality of their aubergine burger. It tastes like the old flavourless mushy bean burgers of yesteryear."

Gluten-Free Options

Pros:

  • "Great vegan burgers! It's refreshing that Vurger Co try something different from the faux meat type of burger."
  • "Phenomenal vegan buffalo ‘chicken’ sandwich, which is prepared gluten free."

Cons:

  • "The Gluten Free bun was so underwhelming, I believe it is the long shelve Schar burger buns you can find in the supermarket."
  • "Why then, 2 hours later, have my coeliac symptoms flared up? It's clear there was either high amounts of cross contamination or just straight up a gluten ingredient included."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "They have a great lunch meal deal that consists in a burger, a side and a drink. Very good value for money."
  • "Hungry at lunchtime... Mon-Thurs, think 12-4pm, you can get any burger, soft drink and skin on fries for £10."
  • "Great for a tasty burger. I went with my boyfriend and we have very different tastes which this place could cater for."

Cons:

  • "£12.20 for a basic burger and old tasting chips."
  • "A bit expensive compared to, say, having the vegan burger at Honest, but nice to have a few different and gluten free options if in the area."
  • "Woah vegan food is expensive! £18 for a burger, fries and milkshake - for one!"
  • "The food was comparable to something you'd get in a secondary school canteen, but for 5x the price."

Atmosphere and Service

Pros:

  • "Great seating inside with hand sanitiser station, staff also wearing masks and gloves. Spacious and good seating areas with cute neon decor and plants."
  • "Love this place! Great burgers but also amazing staff, so helpful, friendly and professional."
  • "The staff behind the counter were very welcoming and answered lots of my meat eater questions patiently."

Cons:

  • "Wifi didn’t work well. Location was clean."
  • "The restaurant itself smells heavily of fried food and I'm now left with the lingering smell on my clothes."
  • "Second time I went here today and let me tell you, the service was HORRENDOUS! The first time me and my mate went there, the food was so delicious and service was amazing so we had to go back a second time. Unfortunately, the service was bad."
