  • "Drinks are actually quite reasonable for Uni students if you go on the weekdays."
  • "If you're not massively into beer I would highly recommend the Framboise, it's really fruity and full of flavour, and isn't too strong so you can drink a few of them!"

Staff and Service

Pros:

  • "Awesome bar, friendly staff, very tasty food."
  • "Those staff that I've seen here in Brighton over the past few days obviously 'get' the whole Brewdog ethos, know the products and are excellent ambassadors for the brand."

  • "Staff friendly and approachable with in-depth knowledge of the bar food and drinks menus."

  • "Staff friendly, helpful and polite not far from seafront (around a 2min walk) great for a few drinks before a night out in Brighton."
  • "Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products they serve."

Cons:

  • "This pub is ridiculous. 2pm on Sunday and they can't take orders for lunch because the kitchen is very busy."

  • "Was told there'd be a 2 hour wait on food, then they ran out of the low alcohol beer I was on."
  • "Service also got much worse. Now they are borderline rude, and lack basic understanding about what they are serving."
  • "They kind of ignored us after we'd ordered."
  • "Staff weren't too bothered about getting it cleaned up in a hurry."

Atmosphere and Decor

Pros:

Cons:

  • "The space inside isn't used very efficiently as there are hardly any seats."
  • "The decor.. though it is an attempt at rustic... it looks dirty and cold."
  • "Music is unimaginative and way too loud, making conversation almost impossible."
  • "Done out in an industrial style it is a noisy place and a bit pricey."
  • "No stage for live music, they played 2 songs but on a really low volume."
  • "The atmosphere is probably the only good thing about this place."
  • "The variety is very limited because they serve beers mainly and the cocktails and liquor are mediocre."

Cons:

  • "Had the buffalo wings and just straight up tasted of vinegar to the point of burning my tongue."
  • "Food prices are genuinely pretentious though and the food does not warrant such stupid prices."
  • "Didn't enjoy the veggie burgers ....cauliflower popcorn mmmm would have again ....had heard that the food was great.. but sadly not☹"
  • "Unfortunately not the best brewdog experience. Over half the taps were off, burger bun was black, Mac and cheese didn't taste of anything."
