Outdoor Play Area

Pros:

  • "Outdoor park catered to all age groups with plenty of tables to sit and have lunch."
  • "Feels like it’s custom built for children’s parties. Excellent venue, brilliant soft play area overlooked by parent/adult area."
  • "Huge outdoor wooden play park, area with animals and an ice rink. You really could spend all day there."
  • "Plenty of activities and well staffed. The outdoor area is great too, I have an 8-month-old so not much for him to do, but he enjoyed petting the animals."
  • "Great outdoor play including bouncy pillows, toddler climbing frame, older climbing frame (again loved both) and a sandpit."

Cons:

  • "Outdoor areas were ok, but some parts like the sandpit just had a single activity (i.e., climbing frame) and if it was busier then it wouldn’t have been enough."
  • "Feels like it’s custom built for children’s parties, but the outdoor area could be improved for younger kids."
  • "Outdoor play area was clean and well looked after. Due to the weather, it wasn't overcrowded, but could benefit from more indoor options during bad weather."

Indoor Play Area

Pros:

  • "Soft play was very busy and would be better if the amount of children allowed on at a time could be restricted."
  • "Indoor soft play area was a good size and all seemed very new and clean. Cafe served nice food although a little pricey."
  • "Both my boys (12-9) really enjoyed it. You have both an indoor soft climbing zone, and an outdoor adventure fort place."
  • "Indoor play area was great with varied areas suitable for littler ones and older."

Cons:

  • "So we are visiting back after 2 years. It is looking a bit tired especially the children area."
  • "The only reason to reduce 1 star was because of the washrooms... maybe due to the weekend rush."
  • "Soft play inside great with varied areas suitable for littler ones and older (our little one liked to play in both). Great outdoor play including bouncy pillows, toddler climbing frame, older climbing frame (again loved both) and a sandpit."

Staff and Service

Pros:

  • "The girls doing the farm were friendly and allowed kids to brush the cows etc."
  • "Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Easy to book a session and the allocated table system means you don't need to drag everything around with you."
  • "The staff are very very helpful and take all the stress out of the day when you have a party there."

Cons:

  • "I have given it 4 stars, mainly because the staff let it down. The lady at the entrance was quite rude."
  • "Unfortunately, the food. £3 for a small amount of chips is surprising! Anyhow see the photo for yourself."
  • "The only reason to reduce 1 star was because of the washrooms...I will not say they are bad but when I visited one it was not to the mark.. maybe due to the weekend rush."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Great place to bring kids although probably recommend 3-4yrs old upwards as the main frame inside is quite big and smaller children would find it hard to reach certain things/be scared of the big slides."
  • "The cafeteria has a good variety of options. Lots of tables to sit."
  • "It's great for kids as you can imagine. The soft play area is great, very large."

Cons:

  • "We have been to other places and at £70, for the family, there is a place we have reviewed which has better value."
  • "Anyhow see the photo for yourself. Overall young kids will still have a lot of fun. There is an outside area."
  • "Putting the exit path right through the gift shop is a sneaky touch as well, but unfortunately we will be looking elsewhere for our days out going forward."
