Facilities

Pros:

• "The shower block is by far the best I've seen, and used, with 10 toilets and showers - piping hot water was a lovely surprise!!"

Staff and Management

Pros:

• "Can't praise Linda and her team enough for their sympathetic response. Customer service at its best along with a wonderful site."

• "Linda has no knowledge of how some children may be neuro diverse and given the current climate how difficult it can be for families to get away for a few days she should not be so condescending."

• "We were approached on our pitch by a lady not in uniform, no pleasantries or introduction and told that our children can't be running around after 9 pm and that they should be 'winding down'."

Location and Views

Pros:

• "The site is on the outskirts of Keswick with access to plenty of walks from the site."
• "The views are second to none and are in all directions. Any photos do not do it justice!"

Cons:

• "The only downside is it's proximity to the A66 as you can hear the traffic."
• "You can hear the bypass all night long. Non-stop traffic."
• "The road immediately next to the campsite seems to be the locals main route for anything louder than a tractor."
• "The road noise is constant, which spoilt the experience for us."
• "This campsite is next to an extremely busy road so the rain together with the traffic noise would have made it hard to hear us."
• "Field we were in unfortunately became a bit of a quagmire after 3 days of none stop rain and I honestly though the camper was going to get stuck."

Value for Money

Pros:

• "By far not the cheapest in the area, but does make up for it in the quality of the pitches and now also added glamping pods which are unbelievably superior, but at a cost."
