  • "Excellent location for central base if walking the wall or if you just want to see the best of it."

  • "The site is in such a fantastic location for exploring the Wall."

Cons:

  • "It's quite a steep site at the top so if you have limited or challenging mobility, get a pitch at the bottom of the site."
  • "The only 'negative' as such is that I didn’t think there were enough showers & toilets for the amount of people staying here."
  • "The facilities are good for a campsite (apart from the drying room) however if you get bad weather and you are situated near the entrance you will get a mud bath."
  • "The site is incredibly cramped, the roads are round the camp are rough and potholed it does not suit a larger mobile home."
  • "A very anti children site should advertise children not welcome."
  • "The price however is very high: 36 pounds for 1 night with 2 adults and 1 child and electrics."
  • "Definitely won't be returning on a motorcycle!"

  • "Facilities were fine but could have been cleaner."
  • "Unfortunately, due to the extremely wet weather during our stay, the ground around our awning and the road leading up to the hard standing pitch was very muddy and slippery."
