  • "Beautiful food. Fish was super fresh. Chilli was amazing. Good portion sizes and piping hot."
  • "Probably the best meal I had in Perranporth. The pork was absolutely delicious."
  • "The Carvery was fantastic. Meat was tender and cooked to perfection, wide variety of veg and sides."

Cons:

  • "Fish and chips were not good. Frozen/oven chips, the fish was disappointing because it was a good fillet with good thin crispy batter but it was frozen and reheated/ deep fried."
  • "Waited 45 minutes for our expensive evening meal. When it came out it was terrible. My chicken tower burger literally had no taste."
  • "For £16! I wouldn't waste your money.. you could do better at home for less."
  • "The award winning pasty was a major disappointment being limp as if it had been under warming lamps and very little in the way of meat."
  • "Eggs were overdone, chips were oversalted, ham was dry, peas were microwaved (unconfirmed)."
  • "Very poor quality, not well cooked, flavourless carvery."
  • "The vegetables had obviously been stewing for a while and there were no green options such as peas or broccoli."

Service

Pros:

  • "The staff were very helpful, and the food was delicious and a good sized portion."

Cons:

  • "It was very very busy and crowded as they had a band on. This meant the bar area was so crowded it was hard to get to the bar or toilet."
  • "One member of staff kept rushing about and then openly huffed and moaned when service was requested on her radio."
  • "We mentioned it to the manager and he just laughed it off, wasn't too impressed with his response!"

Cons:

  • "So I'm highly disappointed of this place and AVOID AT ALL COST!"
  • "While I love dogs there were so many of them in, some lying on the seats which I don't like. There was a lot of barking and jumping up of dogs in the already crowded table areas. Wasn't a relaxing visit."
  • "The table where we was sat clearly has not been cleaned. The chairs was filthy and as mentioned full of dog hairs."
  • "Also where we was sat there was mould on the wall next to where we was sat again I find these conditions poor whilst eating."
  • "Will never come back, after recommending this place to family and friends after years of great food and service I will be telling people to not waste their time and hard earned money."
  • "We wasn't told it would take more than 1 hour 15 mins for the food to arrive."
  • "The fish and chips was awful, more batter than fish, the chips were frozen ones and so dry!"
