Wildlife & Scenery

Pros:

• "Deer are free to roam the park with visitors and dogs are welcome but are required on leads in certain areas."
• "The deer are so used to people you can get quite close to take photos."
• "Nature lovers will love this park. Spotting reindeers and spotted deers here is very easy."

• "Wouldn't recommend unless your dog listens to recall as they can scare and chase the deer."

• "I fully understand it's a deer park but the trust need to ensure that some shoot off paths off the main concrete path are kept clear from deer dirt."
• "Lastly when are people ever going to learn to keep dogs on leads there is a yellow zone which asks that you keep your dog on a lead between the hours of 9am- 10 pm in that area dye to the deer."

Park Facilities

Pros:

• "Good car parking and really reasonable charges too."
• "Visitor centre is fantastic and perfect for adults and kids with some interactive stuff too."

• "The place where I parked had a parking ticket machine which accepted only coins."

Cons:

• "The terrain can be hilly and get muddy underfoot after bad weather."
• "Coming down doesn’t take too long at all, but going up may be difficult. Not Wheel chair friendly however."
• "The paths are not fully flat but are suitable for wheelchair users. I wouldn’t recommend driving a wheelchair off-road as it’s bumpy and your wheelchair will struggle to go up the hill."

Parking

Pros:

• "Car park was easy to use and well maintained - you pay on exit."
• "Car parks get very full, there are two, one at either end."
• "The new camera car park is also very easy to use pop your registration in on the way out of the park and pay."
• "The new parking barriers make paying much easier."
• "Parking is great as once you have paid you can move the car around any of the 3 parking site all day as the park is quite large."
• "Big carpark with clear lines tarmac surface and without potholes."
• "The car park is much improved now they have a Number Plate Recognition so you can just pay via contactless when you exit."

Cons:

• "£4 is a bit much for carparking in my opinion."
• "Car park can get busy, even with the overflow carpark it can be a struggle to find a space during peak times."
• "On the day we came we had issues with the parking machines, tried to paybyphone but no signal to be able to do this so had to drive round to 3 different car parks."
• "Parking is a bit of a pain especially on weekends and currently only one machine takes contactless so there's always a queue."
• "Watch out, parking is expensive."
• "£4.40 for 3 hours and disabled also have to pay."
