Ambiance

Pros:

  • "The ambience is beautiful and the décor is lovely."

  • "The ambience is beautiful and the décor is lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful especially if you want to order anything particular for your pallette."

Cons:

  • "The atmosphere was dire, extremely noisy and really bought the ambiance down. Kids shouting and screaming and people talking over eachother- no sense of decorum at all."
  • "It’s a shame they do not take any notice of customer requests…"
  • "Despite making a specific requests for the bathuras they made a lame excuse why it had to be cooked in one huge greasy size which was extremely disappointing."
  • "Whilst the menu and quality of the food is exceptional (5 stars) , they are let down badly by the service and quality of staff (1 star), if you can handle lack of customer care but high quality food then I would highly recommend."
  • "Food wasn’t too bad and it’s a shame that they have to cram all the dinners in one area when the other end of the restaurant is empty, especially given social distancing."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Food is great, price I think is reasonable, service has some room for improvement but that's just because it always seems to be busy and I can understand why!"
  • "The food was full of flavour and he portion sizes were decent. I went yesterday and it was really busy however the service was fast and I got my food in a flash."

  • "The food is decent - although very pricey (up to £10 for a dosa when they used to be about £4 before the refurbishment)."
  • "Aesthetically nice restaurant. Food was tasty, very small portions though. Very little meat in the curries, mainly sauce. Also £6.95 for a tiny Pilau rice is crazy."
  • "Good food but over-priced. Restaurant was far too noisy, so conversation was difficult."
  • "Feel awful writing this but the food there has given me the worst pains i've had from eating out. Both the mrs and I suffering quite badly today and we ate completely different things. Very overpriced, and the service is not good."
  • "Whilst the menu and quality of the food is exceptional (5 stars) , they are let down badly by the service and quality of staff (1 star), if you can handle lack of customer care but high quality food then I would highly recommend."
