Cons:

  • "We had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks, another 45 minutes for our food, and it was cold."
  • "Nothing happens at a speedy pace here! The staff are all very friendly but walk around at a snail's pace meaning that the food is often cold when you receive it."
  • "Food was nice enough, but was quite expensive. Cakes were a little dry and some of the drinks arrived only warm."
  • "Both dishes we had were very bland, particularly the vegan one with tofu and mushrooms."
  • "The food is often cold when you get it and, most annoying, I have, on nearly every occasion I've been there, been given something I didn't order or the wrong thing."
  • "The entire meal lacked seasoning."

  • "Not very welcoming. Staff looked miserable, stressed and did not seem to care."
  • "Atmosphere slightly noisy... A lot of banging... The Coffee Maker!"
  • "Only let down by lack of barista skill, I was served lukewarm overly milky cappuccinos again and again."
  • "Unfortunately, I witnessed the manager speaking to a member of staff in a very abrasive way over something that didn’t seem to require that tone or volume… very upsetting."
  • "Waited 45 mins for 2 bacon buttys and scrambled eggs."

Atmosphere

  • "Food was okay, coffee was nice although £3.70 for a 10oz coffee is extortion frankly."
  • "The reason why I've given only 3 stars is because it is fairly expensive."
