Cabin Quality and Design

Pros:

• "The cabins are nicely put together, integrated into the forest in a relaxing way."

Cons:

• "For the amount of money you pay I would expect basic cleaning products, coffee, tea, condiments of some kind."
• "The heating was the main problem in that we could not turn it off. The lodge was boiling."
• "Bar/restaurant also closes at 8 and that seems pretty early. Especially in the summer months."
• "One massive negative was it was cashless at the Retreat, not good for kids and pocket money seeing as they have lots of lovely gifts in the shop."

Location and Accessibility

Pros:

• "Amazing spot to grab some tasty food whilst walking around Delemere forest."
• "The outside area was fantastic with a large hot tub, egg chair and seating area. The views overlooking the forest are beautiful."
• "Cabins clean and comfortable, great for bike rides and walks, Delamere visitor centre & lake is about 1hrs walk or 20mins on bike."

Cons:

• "The pot holes leading to the cabins were so bad, it puts you off going out anywhere."
• "Fine for a drink, maybe a coffee & some cake. Pizza was fine but certainly overpriced."
• "Easy to find but main road is riddled with pot holes at the mo so be careful."
• "Delamere is a lovely forest but there is literally nothing to do there."
