Cons:

  • "The place is really not very big, you can walk around it in 25 minutes."
  • "The aquarium itself is quite small so wouldn't have wanted to pay more for entry than the £9 we paid as extras to my son's dive."
  • "The actual aquarium itself is quite small, the extra sections are closed due to staffing issues but the main bit was good with the fish and sharks."
  • "For a small aquarium, it is OK but there is not much in regard to sea animals."
  • "It’s quite small and slightly over priced."
  • "Overpriced for what is essentially one large tank with several viewing areas as you walk around."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Price wise it was good value for money and there was enough to see and we were there for about a couple of hours."
  • "Was around £10 each which we thought was good value for money."
  • "For the price it's a fantastic day out!"
  • "Less than half the cost of Sealife Centre but even more to do and see."
  • "The family pass for 2A 2Ch is well worth the money."
  • "Very reasonable price and great value for money."
  • "Definitely worth a visit, a family pass was £32 and it's worth it."

Cons:

  • "No carpark so pay parking elsewhere."
  • "The child's price is only for up 12 year olds as well which is ridiculous so we had to pay the adult price for our 14 year old son."
  • "Very expensive for the small size and sheer number of people that were crowded in."
  • "What a complete con. We had tickets to get in has we got a discount ticket for my 6 year old and 2 year old but they wouldn't let us in with the ticket that we got."
  • "Very disappointed with their fees. We were a family of 4, paid about £35 and it’s took us less than 20 to finish touring the Aquarium and the Jurassic Falls."
  • "Even with the reduced ticket price we felt ripped off as aquarium was small and it wasn’t worth the £21 we had paid."
  • "Very expensive £12 pound for an adult ticket for somewhere you can get around in 30-45 minutes if your taking it at leisurely pace."

Facilities and Accessibility

Pros:

Cons:

  • "Sadly if you are going to dinor side you have to park or manage to push a buggy round as the terrains are rough."
  • "Nearest car park is at the embassy car park, however can get busy."
  • "The only downside were the price of the drinks in the cafe nearly £6 for 2 cokes!"
  • "Cafe is a bit dear."
  • "The food hall is overpriced. A coffee, a muffin a brownie and a slushy cost £14."
  • "It is slightly cramped, and hard to get buggies/prams around, especially in dinosaur land (some did not want to/could not park their buggies)."

  • "Came on Thursday here. Awful payment method very confusing."
  • "Not a lot of room to move when peak times, quite hot in there, lack of AC."
  • "It was super busy and the actual viewing on most the tanks is tiny, so you get a David Attenborough wannabe then your not seeing cute nemo!"
