Pros:
"The work these people do is absolutely outstanding. I have rescued 2 cats and both have been absolute angels."
"They were absolutely amazing helping me find a forever loving home for my little dog."
"Absolutely wonderful and caring. Having to rehome George was a tough decision to make and the centre made sure that his new family were perfect for him."
"Very friendly and helpful. Lorraine was fantastic and has helped me find an amazing home for my 8 month Border collie."
"I cannot thank this charity enough for the help and support they have provided to find a new 'forever home' for Agnes following the sudden death of her beloved 'dad'."
"We adopted our beautiful son Ralph from here some 6 years ago...had fantastic dealings with them very helpful and we love him so very much."
"We had to rehome my Mother in laws Border Terrier dog because she could not look after him. He is being adopted by a nice lady and was very quick to help with this."
"Wonderful and friendly small charity. Just rescued a couple of guinea pigs. We couldn't be happier."
Cons:
"Unfortunatly not Charlotte!!...treated like 2nd class citizens I've never been so disgusted."
"Our experience is one to forget; we were introduced to two dogs, one had issues...they then told us we were too old."
"Don’t bother wasting your time. We’re always told ‘adopt, don’t shop’ but when you try you get nowhere."
"Took a ridiculously long time to reply after a home check in regards to adopting a cat...I had to call every day for 4 days."
"Went to have a look got told you have to make a appointment. It doesn’t say that on Facebook he said everyone is appointments only! Dogs trust isn’t ☹️"
"Dont bother applying for a dog from here as according to them if you are not working...they build your hopes up then dont even bother to let you know they not accepted my application."
"Did have a bad experience there few years ago was hoping to get a cat then said we couldn't have one because we lived near a road we where very disappointed and upset how we where treated."
"Shame, just been up to the centre and was informed that I had to make an appointment to see any dogs. Website does not currently info you that we had to do this."
Staff and Volunteer Interaction
Pros:
"Facilities are excellent and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and amazing with the animals."
"The staff were incredibly kind but totally professional. When I want another animal they will be the first rescue I call on."
"I rescued a chow chow and brought her to Warrington Animal Welfare because she had a lot of medical issues, and honestly they’ve been amazing!"
"I can't recommend Warrington Animal Welfare highly enough - they are such a friendly and caring organisation."
"Very helpful and efficient! I don’t have a bad word to say about these guys their doing a amazing job and care for all animals."
"Fantastic, dedicated team who genuinely care for the welfare of the animals in their care."
"The volunteers here are very friendly. They have a selection of cats, dogs and other smaller animals that are looking for a forever home."
"Excellent dedicated staff, helpful from the first phone call from Fostering to adopting. Lorraine has been Very helpful and informative, this place really does care."
Cons:
"She was very condescending and even raised her voice at me telling me the cat is not Ferrell if I’ve managed to pick it up."
"After waiting a day and a half for a phone call as we wanted to rehome a dog it was in vain. They seem to like spending more time on social media than returning calls."
"They took a cat from a garden and when the owner came forward with papers to prove it was there cat they have refused to give it back. Absolutely disgusting behaviour."
"Strange ethics we weren't allowed to re home a cat from here because we live too close to a main road, we have had cats for 30 years here and nothing has happened to them on the road."
