Visitor Experience

Pros:

• "We were lucky enough to go on a day when you were allowed to climb up inside the Vulcan bomber cockpit, which was a great experience."
• "Getting in the Vulcan cockpit was my highlight."
• "The children were able to climb up the ladder and go inside with the guide who told them all about it’s history, they absolutely loved it."
• "Great day out with plenty of interactive displays and quite a few open cockpits."
• "Can get into lots of the planes, including the Vulcan."
• "You can actually go in some of the planes for a closer look."

• "With current Covid rules we weren't allowed in any cockpits which used to be the big highlight here."
• "Today there was a model kit fair there which meant many exhibits could not be seen well inside and outside there were cars parked all round the site in front of the aircraft making photography impossible."

• "Wheelchair accessible for most of the museum however one area is only accessible via stairs."
• "Fairly easy museum to get to by public transport, although a 20-minute walk is required."

• "Please be careful on car park we damage our tyre there."
• "The only downside is the car park; gravel and potholes, not really suitable for motorbikes."
• "Try to arrive by car, if using cabs prepare to wait for sometime to get a cab, for buses you'd have to walk 3/4th of a mile to the nearest stop."
