Location & Scenery

Pros:

• "Fantastic scenery, great for walking."

• "The campsite is in a valley between a road and a train track so not the quietest place."

• "We went on a sunny bank holiday weekend and it was very busy."
• "Very difficult to get river access due to the amount of pitches hogging the riverbanks."
• "Also bear in mind this site is sandwiched between a road and a railway line."
• "The only downside - and this is not the campsites fault- was we arrived during a particularly bad storm and the land was therefore really boggy and flooded."

Facilities & Amenities

Pros:

• "The chemical toilet disposal was a bit grim, but still served its purpose."
• "It's only 4 toilet (2 male and 2 female) but at this tent field could be easy 100-150 people so you must be ready to wait in long queue."

• "The toilets were hard to find in the dark, some signs or a map might have been helpful!"
• "A little bit of building happening and the toilet block has no shower and is a little worse for wear."

• "Based on our time there, and being sold as a quite site there were a group of campers that where too loud late at night."
• "Some of the people staying were rather loud."
• "Guests arriving after 10pm in the evening to pitch their tents; very noisy neighbours."
• "On occasional nights some campers were very loud, van doors banging constantly for 20 mins at a time after 11.30pm and shouting."
