  • "Great street food on entrance, few things to do with young ones, lil shops for souvineers, tarot reading and glass making etc..."
  • "Can't not go the pier on a nice sunny day, walking back from Western lawns and kids wanted to try the arcades and look in the sweet shops."
  • "Fab visit with my nieces the other day. A few of my social media followers spotted me and kindly donated their arcade tickets to us so the girls could buy more treats."
  • "Went to Eastbourne just for a day out. A glorious day helped, but we loved the victorian pier, the shops, and the authentic cafรฉs there."
  • "Good options for snacks, ice creams and games. Good to bring young kids here on a weekend."
  • "It's a great place to come and visit and enjoy with the family there is a great time right now in the summertime."
  • "Spent a couple of afternoons on the pier great entertainment on afternoons nice cafe there also that does lovely food."

Cons:

  • "Visited while an airshow was going on, it was a nice event with lots of people. Seems mostly a place for families (hence the less stars)."
  • "Clean well maintained pier but no toilets unless you go into the Victorian Tea Room and buy something so you are allowed to use their toilet but it isn't suitable for the disabled!"
  • "Sadly not the greatest place to be anymore.. Full of security guards that are only there to stop dogs they are allowing the pier to become a wash of drug dealers and takers."

  • "In places it is a little run down but looks like they are working on the pier as you could go right to the back, but worth a visit."

  • "Always amazing views off the pier too."
  • "Stunning location of the pier, sea and pebble beach. Even more glorious when the sun is out shining."
  • "Absolutely lovely old pier and great to walk along for a great view along the coast and Eastbourne."
  • "Also, Eastbourne is easy on the eye with wide open sea views which catch both sunrises and sunsets."

Cons:

  • "It's a lovely pier to walk around with some lovely views to be had but for me the shops and attractions are just a waste of time unless you want an overpriced shiny rock or a candle."
  • "Cool and all but a lot of the shops were closed and the places to get ice cream nearby were expensive."
  • "Quite a beautiful place, very beautiful color of the sea. A lot of people are swimming. You can try excellent ice cream on the beach. Why 4 stars - is a garbage bin disaster."
  • "It is a bit tacky and definitely rusty. However it is pier in the seaside what do you expect."
