Accommodation

Pros:

• "The rooms are a good size, comfy bed with the usual tea and coffee facilities."
• "The room we stayed in looked new, immaculate, the bathroom was clean, everything looked superb."

Cons:

• "Lovely place to stay, they have double windows to help with the traffic noise located near a busy road but with the windows closed you do hear the traffic just not great on a hot day having to close the windows."
• "This should'nt be a 4 star hotel. There was no fridge in the room, no safe, no telephone inside the room and the drawer to keep the clothes is tiny and not enough for a family."
• "The curtains didn't come close to covering the window and with a bright light outside the room was light all night."
• "The room was quite a let down though with a list of issues including: Alot of dust on multiple surfaces (Door, TV, Chair), the bottom of the bathroom door had a hole in it, smoke alarm hanging off the ceiling, cobwebs on the ceiling, dirty hand print on the wall, a hair in the bed, toilet roll holder on the wall loose, shower curtain rail loose, tea and coffee stains on wall and skirting board and more that I probably cant remember."

• "Service was very good, food excellent however I did mention when making the booking that I was celebrating my 65th birthday with my family after which no mention was made by any member of your staff so obviously slightly disappointed."

• "The portion of chips was miserly and the corncob (about a quarter of a cob) was dry and shrivelled and had no taste."
• "Surrounding in restaurant filthy plaster hanging off ceiling food under the tables off other people not worthy of two stars let alone four."
