Queue Management

Pros:

  • "Do not be put off by the queues they move quickly."
  • "Wasn't too busy as there wasn't a queue on the road to get in and once in the car park I got a space right away!"
  • "Arrived on a Wednesday morning about 10 minutes before opening. Plenty of parking and the queue was short."
  • "Arrived about 0920 - queue for the shop. Didn't go in the shop. Had some breakfast.....service starts at 10. Well organised, coffee was decent."
  • "We had to wait about 20 min before going into the shop, great experience."

Cons:

  • "The car park is something else 🤣 if you have a lowered car don't try going in as you will ground out."
  • "Not sure what the traffic and parking is like on a less festive time of the year but arrive early so as not to disappoint."
  • "Very busy. Food was great from the burger van. Farm shop was a little expensive, but we expected that. The steak was very nice and sausages were the best sausages we have ever had!"
  • "The carpark has been updated with better hard standing but large puddles do appear during wet weather."
  • "We arrived at 8:30am on a Wednesday (an hour before opening). It was great because we could get all the pictures we wanted before anyone else arrived."

Shop Experience and Stock

Pros:

  • "Good supply of products. Love the funny items."
  • "The shop was busy with a small line out front to get in. The shop was well stocked and the staff were friendly and welcomed you as they put items on the shelves."
  • "Shop is small, but well stocked. Nice mix of local produce and products, with Diddly Squat items."
  • "Shop is well stocked but small, so it's best to have an idea of what you want in advance so you can grab and go to allow others in."
  • "The shop really does bring tourists to the area. The shop is well stocked with fresh goods sourced from local farmers which is great for the local community."

Cons:

  • "Mainly went here to see what all the hype was about. We really enjoyed ourselves! We first went into the shop, it was expensive!! However the food was reasonably priced, we got the sausages, which were very nice."
  • "The prices are what you'd expect for a farm shop however I do feel they are slightly over inflated. For example, a 1l glass milk bottle was £6.50 or £8.50 I can't remember now."
  • "Very busy. Food was great from the burger van. Farm shop was a little expensive, but we expected that."
  • "The farm shop was busy but people were sensibly parking and the queue moved quickly to the shop. The shop is well laid out, clean and staff were refilling items as needed."
  • "The shop itself is rather small and we queued for 2 hours to get in. However well worth the experience."
