  • "Best fish and chips I've ever had. Massive portions."
  • "Food was great, pizzas massive so could halve for lunchtime snack."

Cons:

  • "First night in London, popped in for dinner... food was all over the place with coming out different times steak was asked certain ways and was giving the opposite what was asked for."
  • "this pub was absolutely beautiful so its very unfortunate that the food wasn’t great at all. it was cold."
  • "Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at all at the oneils bar. Yesterday I was going to watch the football and so thought that it was a nice pub to go into to get a pint or two before the game."
  • "Service was horrible. After over 45 minutes, I had to remind the bartender that the food hadn't come."
  • "Terrible food. Dinner was tasteless and looked unappetising."
  • "Not an overftiendly pub - when it was 'The Flag' and prices were a 'little more' sensible - it doesn't come anywhere close to being favourite place to visit/frequent!"
  • "The food was edible but not up to an average standard. Most of the meats was burnt and charred."
  • "Terrible service on Sunday night, was told food was no longer being served at 8:58pm."

Customer Service

Pros:

  • "I had the pleasure of being served by an outstanding individual at O’Neils in Watford. Eden exemplified professionalism and genuine hospitality."
  • "The staff are 100 percent helpful an so kind never been so looked after."

  • "Went for a day trip and popped in here on the way back. Right next to Watford Station. Bar lady was lovely and really welcoming!"
  • "The workers themselves, from what I observed, didn't wear any masks to drive down the risk of spreading COVID. In spite of this one thing, I would definitely come back again given how much effort they put into combating the virus during these challenging times."
  • "Very large pub conveniently located right next to the train station. Service behind the bar was quick and friendly."
  • "Tina was extremely accommodating with the ever changing requirements for our social club event!"

Cons:

  • "Place needs a bit of a make over there's mould on the ceilings and bathrooms was dirty. Place wasn't packed, over all very disappointed as place has potential but staff where rude and food was cold."
  • "i was very disappointed with the service too, im not one to complain nor moan but it seems like every member of the staff were bored and had no life in them at all, each and every one of them were stood at the end of the bar eating and chatting away, including the chefs."
  • "As I went up to get a pint however I got asked for ID... She then comes back around a minute later to make me aware she is not serving me due to the fact she believes it is fake."
  • "Went for a pre xmas night out at the Aerosmiths darts which is in the O'Neils pub. Had a great time apart from a mixup with food which the manager Noel sorted out without any fuss."
  • "Ordered food and drinks, meals arrived pretty quickly but drinks didn't arrive."
  • "Service was horrible. After over 45 minutes, I had to remind the bartender that the food hadn't come."
  • "The service was incredibly slow despite there being very few customers and at least 5 bar staff."
  • "Not entirely sure the reason behind restricting two "Reserved" areas of seating on the busiest night of the week."

  • "Music was too loud so you couldn't hear anyone and they couldn't hear you. Pubs are supposed to be social places, so this was very off putting."
  • "The music was too loud which resulted in everyone sitting in a small area without speakers to try and get away from it."
  • "Very few beers available. A good range in theory but most were described as out of stock."
  • "Atmosphere was very good lively and noisy ,prices on par with other pubs."
